About This File

X-Plane 9.70 Scenery--Lashenden (Headcorn) Airfield (EGKH), v1.0. EGKH is one of the several small grassed airfields that played its important part in the Battle of Britain during WW2. Its name was then called Lashenden to deceive enemy bombers because Lashenden itself is situated several miles away. The layout is as exact as we could make it right down to the small toilet block and the stairs leading to the viewing point. All the buildings have been drawn in 3D by "Mercedes" from photographs taken by "Delboytwo" - both members of X-P. Headcorn/Lashenden is now a very popular airfield having many big events during each year, and one that is well worth a visit. Requires OpenSceneryX and FF_library. By Tony Brown (Mercedes).
