FS98 Nord 262D Frigate Transport. French high-wing twin turboprop military transport aircraft built by Nord Aviation in 1968, which merged into Aerospatiale in 1970. The Frigate was the military version of the 1962 Nord 262A short-haul airliner, equipped with more powerful 1145 eshp Turbomeca Bastan VIIA turboprop engines and four-bladed propellers. It had a top speed of 226 knots and cruised at 210 kt, and had a capacity for 24 troops and 2 to 3 crew. Modified Lear45 panel included for default FS98 gauges.
