FSX Scenery--New Iloilo International Airport, Philippines. The original version of this airport was initially created by Sir Ver Walter Gulfan of the Philippine Flight Simmers Group, as part of the New Bacolod-Silay Airport Project. However, because there was no initial activity with the project anymore, it was decided to revive the project by using the necessary means to make it look close to the real thing as much as possible. The ICAO code for this airport is 1PVI, as it is not possible to close the default FSX RPVI airport. A few changes have been made also with the comms, as well the airports navaids. The New Iloilo International Airport, initially replaced the original Iloilo Airport located in Mandurriao, Iloilo City. The new airport is located between the municipalities of Santa Barbara, and Cabatuan about 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car from the city proper of Iloilo. By Dominique Gabriel Banaga.
