FSX Acceleration Megafloat Airport Scenery. The real Megafloat was a proof-of-concept experiment into floating airports. A 1000m floating airport was made of watertight sections joined together and anchored in Yokosuka harbor. Landing experiments were conducted in July 2000 with small aircraft. This is an accurate representation of the floating airfield, which had ILS, even a small fire truck. by John D. Yarrow.
