X-Plane 10 Scenery--S52 Methow Valley State Airport, WA, USA. Methow Valley State Airport is a small general aviation airport located in Washington State's scenic Methow Valley near the town of Winthrop. The airport is relatively busy during the summer months with forest firefighting operations. S52 serves as the base airport for the North Cascades Smokejumpers and is recognized as the birthplace of smokejumping with the first ever, "experimental" jumpers flying out of here in 1939. This scenery requires OpenSceneryX, RuScenery, and R2Library. It was tested and looks best with Andras Fabian's HDMesh.
