X-Plane 9.70+ Scenery--KTEX Telluride Regional Airport, Colorado (CO), USA. Telluride Regional Airport is a public airport six miles west of Telluride, in San Miguel County, Colorado. It is one of the world's trickiest airports. Its dangers include an altitude of over 9,000 feet, an icy runway in winter (no brakes!), and wind sheers as you traverse the cliffs. Incidentally, Telluride is pronounced "tell-your-eyed." Buildings are original, Jacques Brault's and OpenSceneryX, grasses by Simon W.
