About This File

X-Plane The Royal Iris Mersey Ferry 2.0. The MV Royal Iris is a twin screw, diesel-electric, former Mersey Ferry. The vessel was built by William Denny and Brothers of Dumbarton and launched in December 1950. As of today, and after many years of service, the Royal Iris is settled on a London mud bank with a hole in her lower side. The cost of taking the vessel back to Merseyside is now estimated to be in 6 figures. Made with Sketchup 2015 and high resolution photographic textures. Converted for X-Plane using Marginal's Sketchup2XPlane Utility. By Paul Mort.
