X-Plane 9.70+ Scenery--6OR8 Holce And Oblack Airport 1.0, OR, USA. Holce and Oblack is a 'turf' strip on the way to Portland from Astoria, Oregon. You'll see it if you go east over Karpens and then hang a right through the Big Creek Mainline canyon gorge and down towards Birkenfield on a heading of about 120. You won't find Holce in any satellite photos, or the USGS where XP9 says it is. There are just farms and ranches there. Continuing on at a heading of 150 another 7 miles, you can then drop down and visit Vernonia (landing from the west!). Take off and head 090 to KSPB, turn to 135 and end up in KPDX. Its a very scenic flight at a cruising altitude of 3,500 MSL. I borrowed an ortho from another of my airports and aligned it with XP9's 6OR8 runway. Land low and slow over either end of RWY 15/33.
