CFS Scenery--Southern Gilberts. The Gilbert Islands for CFS, are completed. The "Southern Gilberts" scenery shows Nonouti, Tabiteuea, Beru, Nikunau, Onotoa, Tamana, and Arorae islands, that is to say, the Gilbert islands located to the south of Equator. Six fictional airfields and a seaplane area are located on this islands, with fuel areas signed by Japanese characters. Only nominal forces were placed on these islands in the Gilberts. Some of these Japanese airfields are fictional. Not known if they were built before WWII, but they are the same runway direction and distibution buildings as the current airfields. By Edmundo Abad.
