FSX Scenery--LFXI St Cristol Plateau d'Albion. Well, well, if there is a place where you are NOT welcome, this is the one. This French Air Force Base (BA200) used to protect the long range nuclear ballistic rockets of the French strategic air command. Lost in the middle of the very beautiful South of France, on the highlands producing some of best Lavender in the world, this very unexpected high tech little city could surprise the un-prepared tourist driving around. Of course, the base was shut down at the end of the cold war and the runway is officially closed ... but ... 1,000 foreign legion expert soldiers still secure the place and the long range listening units of the French security are still very much awake.
