FS2004 Van's RV-9A. Van's Aircraft is the leader in home-built kit planes. The RV9A is a side by side two-seater with nose wheel. This model was made possible by the designer Chris Lampard who allowed me to use an unfinished plane as a starting point. Because the plane is a kit the cockpit varies widely from basic standard to the glass. I chose what I was familiar with in designing the standard panel. I have offered the checklist and reference files that are accessible with icons to make things easier. The plane has max speed of 182 KIAS, cruises at 157 KIAS, and has stall speeds around 45 KIAS.
