No mrzippy. I know that when loading FS it should be loaded by default so it can build all the nessesary files and these are best built with the default flight, be it the game's at Friday Harbor or a created one; I have had mine from my local airport for years, even in Fs9.
Now I realize that when starting and loading weather it assigns me to another runway and when I ask for Progressive...It takes me there no problem, The arrows show all the time.
But now looking at my .cfg file it looks like this:
Like I have two default flights:
//SITUATION=C:\Users\Berna\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\Kastrup to Roskilde
SITUATION=c:\users\berna\documents\flight simulator x files\Kastrup to Roskilde.FLT
Do you make every new flight you create your default flight? Just my opinion, but I think that causes issues down the line. Sorry you are having all of these problem! 😕
While Google searching this loss of progressive taxi, I came across a topic on the Microsoft FSX-SE site with another person with the same problem. He downloaded and installed an addon airport that did not exactly match the elevations of the default airport he was replacing, and the taxi arrows were actually under the taxiway!
I've been using the "Search" selection within the "More" tab on top right of page.
Works Great!!! Been finding more and more things.
As an old Mamas & the Papas song used to say... "It's getting better every day..."
Thanks for all the hard work on the new site format!
Hello mrzippy, thanks for staying "on" I load my flights and under previous flight I tick the box that says " make this my default flight".
I believe it is my default flight, it shows in my .cfg file under
[Userinterface] Section like this:
SITUATION=C:\Users\Berna\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\Kastrup to Roskilde.
