tgibson_new
For the Type in the Select Aircraft menu are you looking for F-105D Thunderchief, not F-105 Thunderchief? Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.com
asos
Tom, Can you explain more please... The entry ui_type=F-105 Thunderchief is the same everywhere.
Downwind66
Nick - Do all the other aircraft show in the selection menu? And do you have the filename of the texture add-on? And, no, as Tom pointed out, your ui_type for the troubled add-on shows ui-type=F-105D Thunderchief. Downwind66
I found an F-105 download and the JV-093 add-on. All worked well. Couple things I noticed that might help, but maybe not in your case, but who knows? When you can answer the questions I asked in post #4, maybe I might be of help to you! For now, I am going to fly this bad boy around a bit and then decide if I am going to keep it! Let me know! Rick :cool:
tgibson_new
asos, that's my point - those are NOT always the same! As Rick says, All the old ones: ui_type=F-105 Thunderchief Your new one that does not show up: ui_type=F-105D Thunderchief That one has an extra D - D D D D When using the menu you will have to look in a different aircraft type for that repaint. Downwind66
You know what's strange Tom and Nick? With all the freeware downloads I looked at this morning, none of them showed the manufacturer as ALPHASIM! They all showed manufacturer as ALPHA! If you take a look at the section of my aircraft.cfg that I have printed below, you will also see ALPHA as the manufacturer! How did Nick get ALPHASIM on all his variations? UNLESS, he manually changed it, then he wouldn't show any of his F-105's? But here again he's not looking for the rest of them, he is only looking for his JV-093 addon! This is why I asked him the question, do you still see the rest of the aircraft? Maybe, if ALPHASIM considers ALPHA to be their designated manufacturing name, maybe Nick might try just changing all the manufacturer's names to reflect ui_manufacturer=ALPHA ! Sounds far fetched, but hey, I have seen stranger things with flight simming quirks! Let's see what Nick says. I know I have downloaded a base and the add-on and I am up and flying. It's not a bad download, which means I will play around with it before deciding to keep it or get rid of it. Not like I really need another 7 aircraft! Downwind66
Okay, hope all will be fixed! Mine is above if you need it. Only thing I added to each aircraft was the: atc_id= atc_airline= atc_flight-number= Rick
asos
I used ALPHASIM as manufacturer to differentiate from other ALPHA aircraft and thus select it quicker,,,
Downwind66
Alrighty then, hope all worked out well for you! I deleted mine last night, so you are on your own! Enjoy, it's a very nice flying aircraft! Rick
nadlzfw
I also noticed that, for each [fltsim.x] entry, the line title=(whatever) must be different for each one. I think, if two of the variants have the same title, one will not show up. Nadlzfw
