Keyboard S to cycle through views

Recommended Posts

I was always used to keying S to cycle through all the views or Shift+S to go through them in reverse order.

I seem to have accidentally done something such that S now just alternates between Spot View and Cockpit and Shift+S just alternates between Cockpit and Wing View.

Can anyone tell me how to reset the keyboard to the original arrangement?

Thanks in advance!

This is the default way they should be assigned:

Action and Key(s)

.

View (next category) S

View (previous category) SHIFT+S

View (next view in category) A

View (previous view in category) SHIFT+A

View (previous view toggle) CTRL+S

View (default zoom) BACKSPACE

.

If they don't work like this, you can check the assignments in you FSX settings.

`A` key transposes all the`next-in-cycle` by default. Perhaps just revert to the original key functions?

Thanks for the replies, guys.

I was flying far out to sea (which I very seldom, if ever, do) and noticed there was no Tower View by any keyboard selection and it was greyed out in the menu selection. When I got closer to land, and presumably back within range of a tower, the Tower view was restored and so was the conventional keyboard selection. So as far as I'm concerned that's fixed it and you learn something new every day!

Thanks again
