Okay, a little history found today at SOH site!

Recommended Posts

Was browsing the warbirds aircraft section of SOH, came across an "On Mark Marksman" twin engine executive aircraft! When reading the article, after WWII a company by the name of ON MARK ENGINEERING was converting surplus Douglas Invader A-26 airframes into civilian aircraft for executive use. Out of 60 surplus frames, On Mark was only able to successfully use a dozen of them for their new adventure!! I already had some military style Invader A-26 aircraft in my hangar, so I was tempted to say the least! Here's what I got now!

End of story! If you hear me "out and about" in the vicinity of Charleston AFB/Intl KCHS, give me a wave!

I agree Blair, but as Larry said above, I bet this is a gas guzzler. It would probably be better, just to go out and buy a modern day business jet!

Me? I don't have those kind of worries, just all in the imagination!

Have a super day!

SWEET!!!!

Michael

PS, Rick those old radials cost almost as much for oil burned or leaked as they do for gas. But they are truly sweet to hear and to fly!

You got that right, Michael, kind of like the sound of a Harley vs others! No others like them!

I'd have said Ducati, because I prefer their handling. But in either case you're correct.
