So I'm trying to work out what we need to choose from. So Meigs field or....bust? As in breasts? So we choose either Meigs or breasts? OK, I choose boobies. Now what happens?

I don't see any program to install its textures. I only see Text-o-Matic but I dont know ow to use that one. EDIT : solved. I was using the wrong Text-o-Matic program.

Anyone know how to do this? Seems overly complicated. I have the DF livery packs but can't get it installed into the model I want. "Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope."

I looked at a box online and it showed a couple routes being flown. I thought it may have also included some airports / airfields from that period to enhance the add-on. Although calclassic may have some of them covered already.

From Orbx : Terrain Mesh - a grid of elevation data. (determines topography, hills, valleys, etc..) Land Class - a grid that determines what class of land should be drawn at each point. (grass field, farm, sparse trees, dense forest, desert, city, small town,...) Vector Data - a layer of lines (roads, rivers, power line) laid on top of the mesh, LC, & texture. Not sure if its called Vector in FS9 or not.

Cool add-on. Never seen it before. A pity it didn't contain any scenery.

I think you mean latest rather than real. Of course none of it’s real, but much of the ‘retro’ or ‘classic’ era add-ons (calclassic, HJG, CBFS etc) are probably more realistic than most of the current ‘modern’ offerings in Fs9.

Retro is where its at mate. The best thing about FS9.

Its not the default. Its some hangers I've added to a default airport using ADE. They work and show fine in the sim. But when I copy the folder and add it into another fs9 install I have, despite having the same object library's, some textures are missing. I can't figure out where else the object textures are drawn from.

Yeah I'm trying to figure out where else it would've come from. Perhaps from the addon scenery - texture/scenery folders. Not sure where else to look. And why I never bothered to ever upload any airfields I've 'improved' as it always ends up not displaying the same.

A little question for those scenery buffs. Did a little update with Warrnambool using ADE. Copied the scenery file into a different FS9 install but a few hangers a white - no textures (not shown here). I copied the scenery/texture files from the Rwy12 Library and the Static Objects Library. No difference. Where else could these hanger texture files come from ?

Have you added any airports? Regions? Scenery for that area lately?

Agree above. 3-4 a year max. Maybe a little shorter on length. Maybe a teams event? Like a tag team leg. But overall, fun stuff! I like flying aircraft I haven’t flown for some time .

Yep agree! If the burger doesn’t have beetroot (beets to Americans) then in disappointed! Often used in salads and sandwiches. A chicken and salad sandwich, the salad containing not just some lettuce and tomoato, but grated carrot, beetroot , cheese, zucchini, salt and pepper, some mayo….oooh. And of course..the prime ingredient…lots of good yellow Aussie butter. Bread not buttered? Don’t serve it too me! A,though that never happens. I’m hungry.

Last few. Landed. 2:46. so a V+2. Almost! Skyvectors plan was pretty accurate. Main race over!!

Parkes. Home to the famous 'Dish', The big old radio telescope that helped during the moon landing. A pretty cool place to visit. I'm starting to get too far ahead of schedule. Time to throttle back a little. Bathurst. If you love motorsports, head to the 'Mountain'! And we start down, but too close! I wasn't concentrating. Increase the descent rate which isn't ideal in a slippery bird. Gear down to slow her up! Turning final from a weird approach I gave myself. High, WAY too fast. Normal. Missing my other screens! Gotta find out where they went.

OK, my final Leg. As i mentioned earlier along with the skyvector pdf,, I went for it. 2:44 leg. On the ground, packing my food and drink for the long trip. Along with some bottles...with big openings. There's plan. FL190 planned cruise. So I have oxygen. Take off. Clock a ticking. Departing down the eastern corridor. Bye bye Melbourne. Sure will miss your coffee. And freeways making it easy to travel around. Sydney however... Over Mangalore. My hometown north west of here about an hour drive. Over 'Toc' (Toke), Tocumwal. (pronounced Toe-come-wall) A little ahead of schedule which is ok. For now. Narrandera! Not much to see out here. On the Newell Highway. Little town to pass through if you drive 'up the middle' to Brisbane from down south. Also situated on the beautiful Murrumbidgee River.

Also posting my Warrnambool to Moorabbin leg. Planned..I think was 50 mins. Now I WILL miss Warrnambool. NIce seaside town. The western end of the Great Ocean Road. Begin the take-off. Timer started. Yep she's a beautiful aircraft as we head toward Melbourne. Northern end of Geelong and over Port Philip Bay. Melbourne in the distance. Approach, land, taxi and park at Moorabbin airport. V-3. A good run.

Time to continue my posts as to where I'm at in the race (finished of course). Next leg was Naracoorte to Warrnambool. Planned was 45 mins. Vrooom! Vrooooom!! Vroom Vroom!!!!!! er...ok, Engine is off. That was just me saying it. Taxing out, wondering WHO put grass on the taxiway...ok it was me. Climbing out. Leaving the beautiful Naracoorte behind. Sad to leave this pretty little town. Kidding!!! We're still in SA....lets get out of here!! Making good speed. The C210 is humming along nicely. Descent, approach, land, taxi, park and relx. 42 (round up) . minus 3.

Yeah I did notice that. I'll try it. The one that comes with the add-on isn't exactly amazing. The autopilot is frustratingly frustrating.
