  1. Hi, Steve. I don't know if this will help but here is a video on connecting the Pimax. Kind Regards Kevin
  2. I wish you good luck, Steve. I hope everything works out for you. I am very interested for your review of this VR Headset. Please keep us informed. Kind Regards Kevin
  3. Sorry to hear that, Steve. I hope it is something simple and get it working. It would be a shame if you had to send it back for repair/replacement as the extra time it would take. Kind Regards Kevin
  4. Welcome back, Steve. Congratulations on your new pc. Sorry to here about your G2. Mine took a dump after the first 6 months I had it. HP sent me a new cord but that didn't fix it. Then they sent me a new styled upgraded cord but that didn't fix it either. HP finally sent me a new headset which came with the new style cord and it has been golden ever since. Also congratulations on your new headsets. You are making it difficult for me to keep up with you. I just got a new Nvidia RTX 4080 video card to replace my 2080 card and that made MSFS a whole new fantastic experience. Everything is smooth with just about everything set on ultra. But I won't be getting a new VR headset anytime soon. The video card set me back quite a bit. Regards Kevin
  5. Congratulations on your getting a new pc, Steve. I bet you can hardly wait for it to arrive. I wish you good luck with it. I also am looking forward to MSFS 2024. Hopefully Asobo will fix the problems found in MSFS 2020. Regards Kevin
  6. Asobo has come out and said there were problems with the newer Nvidia drivers causing all kinds of issues with MSFS. It is recommended to use Nvidia driver 531.29 until Nvidia fixes the issues. Here is a Youtube video about this issue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEmWgh_1VVI
  7. I'm glad you got it working. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Regards Kevin
  8. Did you start GSX before you started flight simulator? If you don't click on the "Start GSX" icon 1st then start MSFS it won't show up in the simulator tool bar. Regards Kevin
  9. I purchased the Premium Deluxe version from the Microsoft Store. I always say, go big or go home! No regrets.
  10. I purchased a set of VR prescription lenses online for my G2 headset. They just pop on over the two displays and now no glasses needed. They were about $65 + shipping.
  11. My first VR headset was an Oculus Rift S but was sorely disappointed with the resolution. The screen pixels were large and it was like putting your face up against a screen door and looking through. You could see the hollow black squares on the screen. I ended up getting a HP Reverb G2 VR headset and still am very impressed with resolution and it has no screen door effect. Regards Kevin
  12. Does that happen when in the menu 's also? That happens to me a lot. My mouse pointer is way of the the clickable area to highlight it so I can select it. I just click on the enderline on the top right of the screen to minimize MSFS then click on the Flight Sim icon on the bottom tray and it fixes it for me.
  13. I lost 9 hours in my logbook after the new update. No idea why.
  14. I make sure to turn off all Assists. I made a list of my settings so after each update I check and make sure that if anything has changed, I make sure to change it back where it was before. I think this is a good logical thing to do. That way you don't get any unexpected surprises.
  15. I just checked out the Market Place and it worked fine. Maybe try it again.
  16. You should have purchased and installed it from the Microsoft Store. Disks are obsolete now days. Then maybe you wouldn't be in this situation.
  17. Why didn't you buy MSFS 2020 through the Microsoft Store rather than buyings the disks? It was way easier and less painful to install. That way you could have installed it and be flying by now. I think you made a huge mistake buying disks. Just my opinion.
  18. Why didn't you just download it from the MS Store? It is easier and simpler.
  19. I tried to update all morning long-no joy. I finally was able to update later this afternoon and it went flawlessly.
  20. I have sat in that very cockpit when I visited the Evergreen Air and Space museum in Mcminnville, Oregon.
  21. HP came out with an updated cable to address the problem you describe. Maybe contact HP to get the updated cable. I had the same problem with the USB adapters you mention. HP sent me an updated cable which worked until my Reverb quit working. HP sent me a replacement headset under warranty plus an additional updated cable and it has worked with the USB adapter you mention ever since. Now I have an extra updated cable and am very happy with the Reverb G2.
  22. Thanks Gary. That could possibly be what is causing my problems. Although the shaking cockpit issue has diminished greatly after selecting 90hz over 60hz in Windows Mixed Reality software. But it is still there but now flyable.
