  1. Change the cdi button from FPS to vloc. The button is located on the radio stack. You will have to look closely.
  2. Stay below the aircrafts maximum speed. Also below 10,000 feet you stay below 250 knots.
  3. Tim, that must have been a fix for the Japan scenery, but it is global in nature. Was that your take on it also?
  4. I am guessing though the airport will still send you a bill for the landing...🤑
  5. I tested again today to see if landing at any spot at the airport, instead of the spot assigned to you by the ground control would constitute a logged landing. With parking brake set, engine off, avionics and battery off - no logged landing.
  6. Papi lights should be visible to about 5 miles during the day and 20 miles at night assuming clear conditions. I see nothing terribly off with the visibility. Edit- I took myself out to an airnav fix 6 miles from the airport papi lights during a clear/daylight flight and could easily discern the configuration of the lights and saw no issues here. My approach too low, by the way, but not by much!
  7. For log purposes, I believe it is when you arrive at the assigned parking destination.
  8. I read it as, it is work in process and the immediate issues resolved in patch 5. Patch 9 (by looking at other patch 9 issues) seems to be an overhaul of flight mechanics that affect planes. From the outside looking in, it’s hard to say how and when. We are still under two months into this great new sim..hang in there!
  9. I noticed that he and his supporters (alias’s) are all gone now..pity..
  10. It is documented in the patch notes that it will happen, as well as the remedy.
  11. Did you open the vfr map in flight. It is documented in the patch notes that it will cause ctd if you do not open the vfr window immediately upon starting the flight. There is an auto setting to auto-open the map if this is your issue.
  12. At least have a look at the recent update log, you might turn the car around and come back!
  13. you’re welcome! Do you think you will be doing any work on the C182T? You are one of the few channels I will subscribe to, so I’m sure I will see it if you do. I just appreciate how fair and balanced your reviews are.
  14. As I mentioned of your previous videos, thank you for another thoughtful and thoroughly researched video. I appreciate your positive contribution to our flight simming community.
  15. Awesome! I just learned the g1000 today, so baby steps for me, but will save this for later!
  16. It is a documented bug with the heading bug. It only moves in increments of 10 degrees. Hopefully this will be fixed in an upcoming patch.
  17. After you press win + G just click on the screen, it will restore the screen, and display a number for FPS.
