  1. Yo Brian, I also have the Maryadi MV-22B_Osprey insalled in FSX SE and it is excellent. Although it is freeware I sent Maryadi $40 as a thank you for all the superb work that went into it - it's better than a lot of the payware aircraft I've purchased over the years. It has a very cool startup procedure, fly's great and the vortex ring state is modeled very nicely. I highly recommend it. I would also recommend NaturalPoint TrackIR if you don't already have it - it connects your head movements to what you see on the monitor. Best wishes, Max
  2. The best "full passenger cabin" views (including many mouse clickable options in those views) that I have in my sim is the Captain Sim B707. It is a true long hauler and a fabulous/high quality pay ware download and lots of fun to fly. I have been flying it for for several years and it's great value for the money. Best wishes, Max
  3. Hi Roger, Thank you for this very nice airport upgrade. However on my setup there is an elevation discrepancy that causes parts of the runway to be underground. I have FSXSE Windows 7 and Orbx scenery. I have similar problems with some other airports but the Orbx AEC (Airport Elevation Correction) tool fixes it - but unfortunately SABA (TNCS) is not listed in the AEC tool so I can't fix it. Thank you in advance for a little help. Best wishes, Max
  4. Thanks Juan for this great add on. Very nice improvement to the scenery quality with your "Mesh Mountains of Monterrey LOD12" installed. I'm really impressed with how rugged the mountains are and the realism of the fires and smoke! One of your screen shots shows a helicopter with a water bucket scooping out of the lake by the fire near Santiago - is there anyway for me to attach a bucket to my Cera Sim Bell 212 and attack your fires? Thanks again for your very nice add on. Best wishes, Max
  5. Hi Cas141, I recomend you download and install Manfred Jahn's C47 available on this site - it will give you the best of the old world and the new world and allow you to do instrument approaches as you have described. It's an awesome freeware airplane, I'd rank it in the top 10 freeware airplanes ever created by anybody!. Best wishes, Max
  6. G'day miatamariner, The best way to make control sensitivity changes is to install Pete Dowson's FSUIPC4 software for FSX. This will allow customizing controls for every different aircraft in your hanger and it remembers your settings for each aircraft! It provides many other additional capabilities re control assignments for specific aircraft, far better than default MSFSX - it's been a game changer for me. Check it out! Best wishes, Max
  7. Another place several FSX Hornets are available is at RAF http://www.robertjamesrichardson.co.uk

  9. To save your log book when it stops working try FSX Logbook Recovery fsxlog11.zip by Daniel van Os available on this site. It also fixed a FSX startup problem I had with the sim hanging on the splash screen. I use it every week or so keep my log book working. A big thank you to Daniel for this brilliant little piece of software!
  10. Best place to get information on ORBX is from Orbx. Go to https://orbxsystems.com/forum/forum/188-fsx-steam-edition-support-forum/
  11. G'day Mr Zippy, Thanks for the heads up on the free Phantom II on SimMarket. I did a search using "Phantom II" on there site and 7 different Phantom II's showed up but none were free?. Best wishes, Max
  12. Hello Peter, If you still want me to send you the FS9 disks please send me your address. If you do a "Site Search" (top right of this page) using piet06273 you can read the two previous messages I've sent since we got back from our camping trip. Best wishes, Max
  13. Wow, what a very nice improvement to all 3 aircraft, particularly the J3 and the Goose. I've always had trouble trying to takeoff and land the FSX default J3, ( I learned to fly in a PA18 Super Cub back in 1970 so I knew it wasn't that difficult). Thanks a bunch for the upgrade!, and what a nice way to keep your flying buddy Mike Keller's memory alive. Best wishes, Max
  14. Thank you Jorgen and Chuck for the prompt response. Sorry about the "h8" typo. I have just now ordered an USB External Sound Card, (never heard of such a thing before) that will hopefully stop the buzz! Best wishes, Max
  15. Recently a very annoying buzzing noise has started occurring when flying in FSX-SE every time I hit the Pause Key or make a selection from the drop down menu in "Flights" or "Aircraft" or "World" or "Options" etc. It sounds like feed back in a PA speaker system. Thanks in advance for any help. Max HP he-1360t W7 SP1 i7-3770 CPU @ 3.4GHz 10.0 GB RAM 64-bit
  16. Based on my experience in Cliffs of Dover Blitz it appears to be 1,000 ft AGL. Best wishes, Max
  17. Hi Peter ( piet06273 ), We are back home from our camping trip - if you still want the FS9 disks send me your mailing address as previously discussed. See also private message sent a couple of days ago. Best wishes, Max
  18. Hi Rick, I don't know what UT and GEX is but I can highly recommend ORBX scenery (payware) for Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. If it wasn't for Head Trackr, FSUIPC, and ORBX scenery, all of which have provided a very significant improvement in simulator immersion and situation reality I would probably not be flight simming anymore. I realize there is a noticeable cost involved but for these 3 products in particular you get a very high quality " big bang for your buck " and great support!. Best wishes, Max
  19. Hi Firefalcon, For a nice freeware FSX Discus 2b go to https://www.fsglider.de/index.htm
  20. Very nice airplane in all respects, I'm really enjoying flying this one, its a big improvement over the older FS9 version. Thanks Corrado for working your magic. Regarding the sound I simply swapped out the sound folder contained in the main package . muld3r you can insert in search box on the home page of Sim-Outhouse and go to main package link contained in any one of the Expansion Packs. It's well worth the effort. Once again many thanks to Corrado La Posta. Max
  21. I for one really appreciate all the work freeware developers do, it is absolute magic, way, way beyond my computer abilities! In the early years of my FS experience I was to much in awe and humbled to make any comments. It actually took me a while to figure out how to navigate FS stuff on my PC let alone make comments. I would think the number of downloads a developer gets for there work would provide a lot of positive feedback. I have been a private pilot for 49 years and the opportunity to fly unusual or special aircraft that appeal to each one of us is possible in this hobby which may not be otherwise possible in reality. Thank you very much to all the Flight Sim developers!!!
  22. Hi Peter, Will your textures work on my Just Flight F27-200? Max:)
  23. Hi COCAL, I found/installed the F101's from SOH, thanks a bunch. Yes I am a glider pilot, first solo in a Blanik L13 in Gippsland/Victoria/Australia 12/7/1968. I have now lived in the USA for 39 years and created this "handle" hoping it might find one of the gliding club members from the "good old days". Merry Christmas, Max
  24. Dear Dave, I have searched unsuccessfully for Henk Schuitemaker's conversion of the freeware Alphasim F-101. My neighbor use to fly this airplane and I would like to have him fly it again on FSX with your new textures. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Max
