    New to FS (FSX)

Recently I've been flying the new twin engine Cessna 310 and the Howard 500. I like to fly the Learjet sometimes and just play around with the Jenny. I tried the F16 just to try a jet fighter and see what that is like.

llivaudais I to have an E8400 and I loaded TP on it and it was slow. Post your setup and I will dl it again and try it out. Do you fly low or high? I was using the default powered glider going low and slow over my neighbor.
  3. I only play on a PC myself. I might get a PS3 for the Blu-Ray player this fall it the price is right. Have you ever played games on the PC? It is usually a little harder because you have to be more precise. Not knocking the Wii because I haven't been there or done that. kin3

    Well, here we go.

Hi Habu1967, I'm 62 and retired. I'm a college football fan and I pull for the Alabama Crimson Tide. We to are on the come back. It was always a lot of fun to play Neb. We won some and lost some but it was almost always a good game. As I remember it was a hard fought game but with good sportsmanship on both sides. We start the season this Sat. against Clemson so wish us luck we will need it. Roll Tide Roll! I'm from the Gulf Coast and it's our time to be in the news, weather wise.
  5. I noticed that you use Tile Proxy. I tried it once and it was very slow. I have a pretty good machine, also on FSX. How is your performance with it? I might have done something wrong or was flying to low, I don't know. Tell me how you use it etc. Thanks kin3

    New to FS (FSX)

Yes I am a retired railroader. I was a software developer/programmer. I worked on payroll systems. Some I wrote and later I supported an Oracle payroll application before I retired. I built this machine with FSX in mind, along with some other games. I play Call of Duty 4 quite a lot on the http://www.tacticalgamer.com/ site and I play an occasional game of CIV4. Last night I got into an F16 and flew high and fast west to Houston and then Austin, TX and had to land for fuel. I enjoyed that and will continue that to San Francisco at least. I just like to put the AP on and enjoy the scenery. I'm getting better at flying everyday. Well enough for now.:D

    New to FS (FSX)

I am new to FS. I tried FS9 but somehow it just didn't live up to my expectations. Then my son gave me a game that I already had so I took it back to BestBuy and exchanged it for FSX and CIV4 Beyond the Sword. I thought my PC would do the job nicely so I got it. I started with the tutorials and now fly free style. I started out in Mobile, Al and flew to Chicago and now am on my way west. I am headed to Denver and I'm currently in Neb. I also like to fly the gulf coast at about 5 - 10 feet and just watch the coast line. I have the add-on that show all the airport in an area and I am amazed at all the airport in my area. I have purchased from Flight One their package, UTX USA and I really like it. I also added one that show an Google Map with different view options and such so I can see where I am at (freeware). I have DL's a few freeware planes and am happy with them. I like vintage airplanes and tend to DL them quicker than others. Right now I don't have to have everything in it's proper place so payware is not for me yet.
