  1. actually no sir. the problem i had was the PS2 plug on the throttle had quit working. of course the whole yoke system had about 3 years on it and was plugged in and unplugged a gazillion times when i used to play other simulators. but now all i have is FSX for simulators and i replaced the yoke system. so i don't have the issue any more.
  2. lol MSFS was that bad huh?? i'm glad i didn't waste good money on it then if it sucks that bad. what is it bad graphics?
  3. yeah that sound like great fun. that's like FSX you get done flying it's there waiting for you for the next flight. but it sounds like your hobby would be cheaper cause to paint you don't need to use electricity lol and that's why I'm stepping down from flight simming is cause of my pet. and the next one i get. i want to be with ,y pet not the computers. if that make sense?
  4. oh ok. well im glad i waas able to help you. so with that said to the moderators you can leave my account as is :)
  5. is this in regards to a thread i made?
  6. while i have never heard of any of these simulators i can google them and check them out. i used to have a submarine simulator called silent hunter 3. and i suppose i can leave my account as is. :pilot:
  7. sure i never thought about that one. that's a good point. i never thought though that i helped any one here at all. and @W33 you are right maybe i can get some games from steam or something. i used to have a driving simulator but that got old. and i used to have 2 farming simulators but they don't work any more and the support for them stopped working so i threw them away. i just didn't want to be taking up space here on the forums and i wasn't posting anything.
  8. another reason i am getting out of flight simulation is because of my pet i have had her for 8 years. she will be 9 years old in two months and i want to be with her more. i have been virtually flying for almost her entire life. i have a birthday coming in October my own self. and i don't plan on being a computer pilot for the rest of my life. it's time to move on. and i want to delete my profile from here cause i don't post on the forums much anymore at all. and i haven't downloaded anything from here in years.
  9. I've just had enough of flight simming. i been doing for better then 20 years and probebly have 10,000+ hours in it. time to retire. but i do like the part about the 747 sounds very cool. and i bet it was an even better sight to see.
  10. if possible yes if not just make my profile inactive sir.
  11. i want to have my whole profile deleted not just my forum account. i forgot to add that part to my first post about this.
  12. wasn't sure where to post this. but can i have my account deleted? i don't post here anymore and i am retiring from flight simulation any way. 20+ years is enough for me it's time to give it up for good.
  13. lol it ain't sad. it's moving on to be done with it. i want to do then just computer games. im going to be 37 yrs old here soon. time to enjoy life and maybe even try to find a companion to share it with
  14. sorry guys I could mot find my post here. i been playing flight simulators for better then 10 years. i still have some work to get done before I'm done. but even airline pilots retire at some point.
  15. sure. i still use FSX but i plan to retire from it pretty soon. when i take my last flight that will be it for my flight simulator career. i don't plan on being in my 50's and still playing flight simulator games.
  16. i think it had wire issue as well cause it used to get disconnect and reconnect a lot for other simulators. it was 5 years old as well. and i got the saitek proflight again cause it suits my needs cause i have switch panel and stuff like that hooked up to it. it has all the buttons i need for flying.
  17. yes you may suggest that. i did try that on my other desktop computer and got the same results it shut down. after i did some research on how old the yoke was i found out it was 5 years old i got it in 2017. the throttle plug was all warped any way. so i have a whole new yoke coming. which means for the time being i'm stuck in the virtual hanger:(
  18. i just got done with 2 flights. and during the second flight my yoke system started flashing and shut down and i was getting the windows usb disconnect sound about 4 times. then the yoke came back on and let me get my flight done. but now when i go to the calibration page it don't move at all. the clock is at all zero's but nothings working no switches on the yoke or any thing. i think it's about 6+ years old. so does this mean that's it's last flight? cause i even tried a different usb port and got bubkus :(
  19. and i don't think they ever will. another reason i am not buying it is because of the computer requirements for one the price for another and lack of aircraft.
  20. what repaints are you working on? i don't fly the default stuff much any more I'm all A2A my self. that's another reason i am avoiding MSFS 2020 no A2A
  21. i am going to be with the other pc pilots sticking with FSX. i have watched Froogle videos about MSFS and i think the graphics look nice and the DC-6 sounds nice. but it's way about my paygrade to pay 120.00$ for the deluxe version. besides i don't have a computer strong enough to run it. and i have FSX the way i want it finally and i have a lot of good flight hours so far. so the new sim might be way better then FSX but im sticking with it for good. it my be 10+years old but it still works great for me:pilot:
  22. ok I finally heard back from Rex support. and they told me that the update for this is a full version of the program. so you have uninstall your old build number and install just the update. I wish they would have told me that 2 days ago. as it turns out this issue isn't with my computer or Rex it was bad information. it didn't say in the read-me file that this is a separate version and will cause conflicts with what's already installed:mad: so the update is not broken it's rex that lacks clarity on the information.
  23. yes it is. and I got an email saying they have a high volume of support going on right now. so I would just wait on contacting them. but I got the program to work with out there help. I just got done flying with real world weather and it was a good flight
  24. I finally got SF to work. all I had to do was uninstall it altogether as well as the update. and reinstalled just SF NOT THE UPDATE!!! for those of you having the same issue as me DO NOT install the update!!! if you do it will break this program and if you uninstall just the update it will break this again. I am now flying the A2A cub with real world weather. take and shut off the update settings for this altogether and it will work. the update for this is broken and i still have not heard from Rex support as of yet. happy flying:pilot:
  25. ok so i reinstalled SF+ it's update and run the program and this is what i get - System - Provider [ Name] Application Error - EventID 1000 [ Qualifiers] 0 Version 0 Level 2 Task 100 Opcode 0 Keywords 0x80000000000000 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2021-06-07T13:14:14.1070216Z EventRecordID 8910 Correlation - Execution [ ProcessID] 0 [ ThreadID] 0 Channel Application Computer DESKTOP-VM8G8HF Security - EventData rexskyforce.exe 5.0.2021.316 60564828 KERNELBASE.dll 10.0.19041.1023 cbf6f7d1 e0434352 0012a6f2 1340 01d75b9e20fbb18a C:\REX Sky Force 3D\rexskyforce.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll 836c8ff2-45b8-4ffe-a45d-e02ccd68e904 as well as this. - System - Provider [ Name] .NET Runtime - EventID 1026 [ Qualifiers] 0 Version 0 Level 2 Task 0 Opcode 0 Keywords 0x80000000000000 - TimeCreated [ SystemTime] 2021-06-07T13:14:13.4233543Z EventRecordID 8909 Correlation - Execution [ ProcessID] 0 [ ThreadID] 0 Channel Application Computer DESKTOP-VM8G8HF Security - EventData Application: rexskyforce.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
