  4. As Canadian Xpress looks forward to celebrating 15 years of service this September, some of our aircraft that have been around for a while need an update to their interior and a heavy maintenance check which is more than what our maintenance center can handle. This month, we are rotating our Airbus family of aircraft back to the Airbus factory in Mobile, Alabama for interior upgrades and heavy maintenance checks. As Canadian Xpress does not operate regular schedule flights to Mobile, these will be a ferry flights as our aircraft are scattered around the world. For this event, you will choose the departure airport, however all flights must be a minimum of 90 minutes. 5. Cargo or air freight tends to be a more popular career choice for a lot of pilots, especially for those looking for more variation in routes and airports. Unlike a passenger airline pilot who will fly a lot of the same routes and airports week in and week out, cargo pilots can find themselves all over the world on random routes, based on where the freight needs to be moved. The downside means much time away from home as you are not always on a return route. Your mission is to depart from Los Angeles (KLAX) home of the largest shipping port in the United States at Long Beach and fly to Vancouver (CYVR) with any Canadian Xpress freeware or payware cargo aircraft that should allow everyone to get back home in time to return to your real-world jobs. Join Canadian Xpress today in order to participate as there are some great prizes to be won including any Aerosoft download product from https://www.aerosoft.com/ The January 2024 Monthly Challenge is open to all Canadian Xpress pilots from January 1st until January 29th, 2024 so join Canadian Xpress today by visiting https://canadianxpress.ca.

Madrid is the capital and most populous city of Spain. The metropolitan area population of approximately 6.7 million. It is the second-largest city in the European Union. 13. Phoenix is Arizona's state capital and the most populous city in that state with 1,608,139 residents as of 2020. It is the fifth-most populous city in the United States and the most populous state capital in the country. The Phoenix metropolitan area is known as the Valley of the Sun, which in turn is part of the Salt River Valley. Summertime sees temperatures in Phoenix rise so high, some aircraft types are unable to takeoff as the outside air temperature requires an engine performance derating larger than the aircraft capabilities. Telluride is a town the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Colorado. The town is a former silver mining camp on the San Miguel River in the western San Juan Mountains. Telluride sits in a box canyon. Steep forested mountains and cliffs surround it. Telluride Airport is the highest commercial airport in the US at an elevation of 9,078 feet above sea level. Like Phoenix with its aircraft effecting weather. Summertime flying at Telluride is a challenge as well. With daytime temperatures that can reach nearly 30 degrees Celsius, operating in the thin air at high elevations can wreak havoc on aircraft performance. Canadian Xpress would like to invite all pilots to join us on Saturday, August 26th from 21h00edt (Sunday 01h00z) to 26h00edt (Sunday 04h00z) for our August 2023 fly-in where we depart from Phoenix Sky Harbor (KPHX) and fly to Telluride Regional (KTEX). One lucky Canadian Xpress pilot* will win: • Any Just Flight Product from: https://www.justflight.com *Please see Fly-In PDF for contedt details and eligibility requirements. This is an open invitation to all pilots no matter what your flying experience to attend this Canadian Xpress event that will be flown on the VATSIM network. More information regarding this event including operational details, charts, optional add-on scenery and Canadian Xpress Model Sets can be viewed by visiting https://canadianxpress.ca See you all on Saturday the 26th!
