  1. Hi Everybody, Just taking a break from tinkering and decided to enjoy the view while cruising around Florida. What an amazing view!
  2. Hi Everybody, Sorry about the sound issue, I'm still putting everything back together. I'd say I have about 95%+ of the conversion to MSFS2020 complete. I hope to get my first complete flight in sometime this week. I'm now running the left and front monitors @ 4K, while the right monitor is running @ 2K. All this on one computer (I9-10900), one video board (4090) and three 75" monitors.
  3. Hi Everybody, I managed to connect the two together for a very early and quick test. Up next, I want to run cold and dark and check the setup via a Boeing normal flow. Another step forward.
  4. Hi, Thanks, Im looking forward to the day I can get these two playing nice together!
  5. Hi Everybody, A work in progress, but it's looking good so far.
  6. Hi Everybody, As the title states, XP12 meets MS2020. A work in progress.
  7. Hi Everybody, Today I'm hanging out with a friend of mine Pete, he decided to come spend some time in the sim.
  8. Hi Everybody, Been down the past week working on a couple computers, swapping my stronger server computer for my right visual. Now all three visuals run at 5.4GHz with the server running at 5.3GHz. I also had a video board go bad on me, one of my EVGA FTW3 3090s died. Funny thing is, it's on the server computer with all the graphics turned down, the demand on the card was nothing. The card is basically overkill for that position. Still have to figure out why navigraph won't connect to my I-Pad, sim link is installed and connect to XP12, yet no connection. Also, air manager won't connect to my Tablet, all I get is a black screen with the Z2d efb zibo mod header. On a good note, I have X-RASS2 working with X-Plane 12. You can hear the callout during approach, no text... I didn't have it turned on as of yet.
  9. Hi, Just have the one setup of vehicles for the roadway, been working on some hardware issues.
  10. Hi Everybody, I've been updating my video cards the past week and doing some overclock testing on the Asus 4090TUF boards. Now I want to try and add the levelup series (600-700-800-900-900ER) of aircraft into the hangar. The only issue with exterior animations/lights I see is associated with the LevelUp 900ER taxi lighting, I'll look into that sometime today. Then it's on to adding the 3D rain effect into the new aircraft. X-Plane 12 is beginning to look amazing, looking forward to the addition of networking effects coming in the near future. Oh Yeah, 2023 looks to be the year of the flight simmer! 8-)
  11. Hi Everybody, Another smooth ride in the zibo mod. Checking out my latest night lighting edits with a landing in Newark, New Jersey (KEWR).I also hit KLAX, KLAS, KSEA, KJFK and Chicago.
  12. Hi Everybody, For those that have been following along, you know I've been having an issue in getting rid of the dry patches on the Zibo Mod 738 windscreen, these dry patches were located at Zibo's window posts locations. I found a gentlemen that was willing to give me a hand in addressing these dry patch issues, we passed files back and forth and a few days later he sent me the rain effects you see today. All-in-all the new 3D rain effect adds a tremendous amount of realism while flying through inclement weather. Thanks with the help of (Pikitanga & Aharon) others, this is becoming a reality for flight deck flyers. Only items outstanding that I can see are wipers don't operate while on APU GEN power and windscreen icing doesn't form. But if you have window heat on, you'll never notice the icing conditions anyway! If you stay on Engine Gen power until just before gate arrival, the wipers won't be an issue either. Working on editing the install booklet, I'll keep you posted.
  13. Hi Everybody, I have X-Plane 12 dialed in and loving every minute of flight time I can get. The night lighting and parked car edits you see in the video are of my own creation.
  14. Hi Everybody, American Airlines Flight # 788 with non stop service from San Juan to Miami. All in all a nice smooth flight.
  15. Hi Everybody, Enjoyed an amazing ride from Ft. Myers to Pittsburgh. The new settings are giving XP12 a very smooth performance.
  16. Hi Everybody, I believe I've hit the holy grail of Nvidia Control Panel settings. I've never seen this type of smoothness in my flight simulators. I'd have the settings uploaded already, but my recording studio software is acting up and introducing stutters when attaching these screens. So I'll have to upload the settings once I get my test areas uploaded. I've tested in New York/New Jersey, Los Angeles and Chicago. Once these videos are done I'll create another with all my settings. New York/New Jersey Video: Los Angeles Video: Chicago Video: Up next: I'm working on the video showing you my settings in Nvidia's Control Panel. Hope they work for you as well as they have for me!
  17. Hi Everybody, I have isolated the last of the night lighting issues, it seems to be XP12's helipad lighting. Now that I've had my fun flying around LA, time to see if I can adjust these lights to blend in with the surrounding area.
  18. Hey Everybody, Zibo delivers another great ride. Tonight we land at Miami with a bit of rain. The wipers look great!
  19. Hi Everybody, Had some nasty weather all along the way from Ft. Lauderdale to Tampa. I'm surprised we didn't suffer any damage when the aircraft almost flipped over. Rain and wipers are performing well and I didn't have any issues with my hardware/software interface scripts (FDStoXP) from Pikitanga. Have to reposition the wipers a bit better for my next run, I think they were a bit low. The zibo mod runs clean with zero errors in the log.txt file! This was my main focus in getting these edits working in XP12, followed by a simple install. Only real remaining issue with the 3D-Rain edits are removing the dry areas on the windscreen where the flight deck posts were once placed, then replace those areas with rain effect. If we can get rain throughout the entire screen it would be perfect considering we are using on-screen wipers!
  20. Hi Everybody, 3D Rain Effect Install I decided to start from scratch last night because the install process for the 3D Rain edits beacame cumberson. I'd really like others to enjoy these edits while in their flight deck, aside from a select few that have the ability to follow along with my crazy instructions. So I installed the Zibo Mod 737NG early access airliner and latest update ver. 2.4 and began my edit work. I found I was able to simplify the install process to the point of having no issue releasing these edits once I'm able to finish off the remaining problems. So what are the remaining issues... I have to find a way to remove the dry areas located where the 3D flight deck posts were once located and I still have to finish testing what effect IF ANY thse edits have on my FDStoXP hardware/software interface. Hope this gives some hope to those waiting on these work arounds.
  21. Merry Christmas Everybody, and what a Christmas gift this is, thanks Pikitanga that wiper script works great!!! Well, this turned out to be Plan B and I like the look of the wiper blades positioned on the front windscreen better than extending them over to the left and right visual computers. Added benefit, I don't have to worry about sync issues. Oh Yeah! Up next, try and remove those dry areas on the wind screen. I may work on a booklet explaining the steps taken to make this view a reality.
  22. Hi Everybody, Looks like having the wipers extend from the center onto the left/right visual screens is not going to work, time to come up with Plane B.
