Many of the old installers are 16 bit and won't work on new 64 bit operating systems. There's not much you can do there.
  2. Version 1.0.0

Repaint, AI flight plan and ADE airport files relating to the TAG Airlines C208B base in Guatemala City. An HD targa file is included for users of FSX and P3D. See readme file for complete details. By Doug Roth

11 repaints to reflect a partial fleet of the Embry Riddle Twinstars based in Daytona Beach. You will need the base model by Richard Faith which you can get right here at flightsim.com. URL is in the readme file. by Doug Roth
  4. Great shots there Basil! Below a nice ai Boeing Business Jet departing KLAS.
  5. I've been a way from the sim for awhile as life is busy sometimes. A few shots from my "home" airport KISP. Freeware airport from FRF Studios (with a few personal tweaks) I don't remember who did the repaint for the SBAI Bombardier Cseries CS100.
  6. Hi Basil, Some AI around the Philippines. Air Juan was a repaint of the HTAI C208B I did a while ago per request.
  7. Some shots of my Embry Riddle setup in FS9. Featuring the RFAI Twinstar.
  8. I'm sorry but I am still having a terrible time finding ai base models on here now. Using the file name xxxx.zip does not work which is insane. Any database should have direct file names indexed. I hope this is fixed.

After extensive enhancement work on the paint kit I present this repaint for the Mike Cronin Aero Commander 500S AI model - 4_ga_aero_commander_500s.zip see readme for file information. I did not develop a lightmap for this file. For FS2004.
  10. Where do you go for the landing pages? So far I only get a generic page that says do you want to load a file?
  11. I did the same exact search and nothing came up the first time and next time without the quotes I get all of the repaints. It is really important to be able to use file name for searches though. I hope you can install this option.
  12. Take these base models for instance. Originally linked to the old library but now I could not find them here. Only repaints for the model will show up using various criteria but not the base model which is what is supposed to be looked for. See attachment
  13. The problem I am seeing with the file search is that you can't get any results using the original file name, it is not even displayed on the landing page for the actual file. This is a must fix. Of course if I am missing something here please let us know.
  14. I of course am willing to give this a chance and since I have been working with computers and databases for many years now I understand the complexity of the work. Just one question as an owner of many uploads here for the last almost 20 years (geez that long!!) do I have to write to the admin for each to move to my account one at a time or could you mass move them over. --Doug Roth
  15. The very simplified answer is use DXT3 (or DXT1 with alpha for lightmaps) for performance as this is the recommended format in the sdk. The 32 bit version when saved with DXTBmp or Imagetool is a larger version with much less compression which in turn displays a better quality images. On older systems the performance would take a hit from this as well as uses extra HD space. Newer computers should not have a problem with this however. Still the hard drive space can be used up much quicker with these larger files especially for flyable aircraft.
