I finally got the fly by wire flying after many problems ,but it just want to climb lol throttle as no control of engines nor does moving engines with the mouse i easily get fed up and turn the sim off after 3 restarts it gets a bit painful can anyone throw some light on this problem please ,is fly by wire broken,am i missing something whatever help would be appreciated. Hi I was wondering if anyone as had a problem with the fly by wire A320 leap not showing up haveing pressed the fly button I have updated the installer, removed livery its all showing as installed and is in the content manager as up to date ,any help would be appreciated never ever had a problem with fly by wire before. Hi a While ago I bought Weather force ,I have it installed but not getting good results 1 its caused a massive frame rate drop and 2 I just cant get it to work well can anyone advise please tips etc thanks Kind Regards Andrew

Hi I bought the disk version and I can say i have had no problems at all with installation and personally Idon't think it as anything to do with where the sim was purchased more likely lack of updates for the store, and speed throttling by steam i am not suggesting for one minute its any ones fault but we all make mistakes and oversights and some things cant be controlled it seems everything as to bang up to date for the sim to update properly and if not problems can arise, I have had the odd CTD but you dont have any control over this it can happen anytime. Well at the second attempt at updates and downloads I finally got an update all 425mb hardly seems worth the trouble but I cant help thinking it should be bigger ,it updated from the store not the installation manager.

Yes i new that was possible but what I was getting at I found it was better to install the sim on a dedicated drive away from the operating system if that makes sense. Kind regards Andrew

Hi First of all can i just say my update installed without a a hitch, it was the so called Hotfix that gave me problems initially causing ctd's 2 to be exact I use a 4k smart tv and run the sin in Ultra and 4k,I am getting better frame rates than i could have imagined but they deteriorate fast in dense populated areas as you would expect in most systems,as point of ref i do have an above average PC with all the latest commponants ,i have not tweaked anything ,I really feel for the people that are having problems, but dissing the sim wont solve them, report the problems to the Zen desk or they will never know about peoples issues.Msfs2020 as without doubt got some problems. I would suggest to everyone don't fill your community folder with addons ,don't alter things in Nvidia control panel unless you know what your doing, even then a bit at a time ,make sure your system as good specs not just minimum ,have enough ram and a good PSU ,have a good HDD if not a SSD then the fastest possible ,if its not a steam version i have used steam for 16yrs but would not trust it with MSFS2020 . I found it better to install the sim on a seperate drive to the OS just seems better and the community folder is easier to find, make sure you have a good internet connection not wifi if possible but wired ,most people will probably be doing the things i have suggested i am no expert by any means but just trying to help those who are having difficulty, Almost everyone who is having problems is blaming the sim ,while its far from perfect if it was as broken as we are led to believe ,then i don't think it would work for anyone, I would say look to your hardware PC setting all updates ,ms store, windows, gpu, etc updates are important, I might be wrong but I dont think its good to run on a LAptop unless very high end. Much of what i have said is very much common sense and I am sure some of the people haveing problems are more experienced than me and i feel sorry for everyone having problems ,when i first got the sim i followed youtube videos to try and increase my fps a load of rubbish i soon found it is what it is i think if it cant be done within the sim then things should be altered with caution out of the sim. I am not an experienced simmer but never had any problems with installation, all updates have gone very smooth ,don't know if its location that as anything to do with it or not like people that live in a big city might have more trouble than someone like me that lives in a Rural location.I think it goes without saying a Stable internet connection is so important. Again a wired connection is better than wifi. At the end of the day I can only speak of my own personal experience with the sim and it as on the whole very good, and a lot of the problems I have suffered have been of my own making. When installing anything take your time check everything that you do,be carful with addons they might not be all they seem they can be removed from the community folder but as anything gone into the registery that can cause problems. HI everyone i have solved the puzzle it seems that when using assistance you must land on a main runnway for it give option of going to the gates just landed at gatwick and got to the gates but still testing lol Thanks to everyone who tried to help :) Kind Regards Andrew

Hi Tiger thanks for your reply, I think the option to continue loads the main menu cant be certain though because the aircraft is already shut down oh i remember the continue puts you where you need to start engine again fed up with this lol

OK so I use the assisted landing ,i know its a bit lame but everyone as to start somewhere ,i could manage to land and taxi to the gate ok no problems, now when I land the plane comes to a complete stand still ,engines become unresponsive and cant move the plane this is on the runway by the way. Am I making too much of this because this is something new I am talking airliners like A320 leap neo as the new assistance got anything to do with it after the update ,I suppose i should learn to land the planes properly but not had the time, is there a good tutorial about landing ifr flights? but as for as not being able to move off runnway after landing does anyone know if this is normal any help suggestions would be very much appreciated I am truely a progressing beginner thanks Btw My fps is Now with everything maxed out 58 outside 54 in cockpit just useless info lol Kind Regards Andrew

Hi everyone just a question about auto land whenever i use auto land my aircraft goes into reverse uncontroably then flys into the air backwards and then crashes not a pretty sight am i doing something wrong thats with a payware as well as stock planes just wonderd if anyone else as had this or is it just me lol

Hi Some People think that re-Installing windows is the here all end all well I can tell you its not lol and should only be done as a very absolute last resort i personally never reinstall windows, on my old system I used the same copy of windows for over for 4 yrs ,I dont think I could contemplate having to install all the updates etc let alone 164gig for flight sim but if thats what someone feels is needed thats up to them but i can help noticeing the number of people in the forum that reinstall windows on a regular basis . regards Abdrew
