Sorry about Scenery mistake. It's Aircraft Checklist Pro. The main file is in the Community directory and appears in Content Manager.. This is the first addon I have tried to install into MSFS. Is it necessary to go through Content Manager to install an add on?

Please Help. I have not used Content Manager in MSFS 2020 yet and would like to install SoFly Aircraft Scenery Pro but I can't figure how to install it in MSFS2020. I found it listed in Content Manager but I can't figure how to use Content Manager,. It shows Aircraft Checklist Pro in the listing and to the right says "Not Installed" and to the right of that it says "Community" Below to the left are three checkboxes and one says "Installing" but nothing happens. On the pre vious Sim page is a progress bar that says 6 hours but nothing is moving in either the progress bar or on the Content Manager Screen. Can someone please walk me through the Content Manager or does someone know of a good tutorial? Thanks.

Hi, While flying the Cessna 152 everything was fine until I accidentally hit the "P" key and the sim froze. Thinking the pause key was back as it was in FSX I hit the key again and nothing happened. After several tries I hit escape and went back the Control menu and then back to the flight. The flight resumed but the sound of the engine was silent. I went back with Escape and the FS music was playing but when I return to the flight there still was no sound . I checked the Control assignments for my CH Products Yoke and everything seems fine. The Print Screen key also works fine but the P key killed the flight movement and sound. Any ideas? Thanks. Tom

Hi, Is there a way to tell if MSFS is streaming real scenery data or not? While setting up a flight I got the message that "You Are Currently Offline" but I had a good modem connection and under my screenname it said "You Are Online" . Thanks.

Hi, I'm just getting familiar with the new MSFS2020 and decided to try out the live traffic setting. The planes were either all green or yellow with a generic look. I thought "Live Traffic " meant the planes would have various familiar airline liveries rather than generic and fictitious names. Am I doing something wrong or is there some addon with real looking aircraft similar to Ultimate Traffic that worked with earlier FS versions? Thanks.

Hi, While flying the A2A 172 I noticed my mixture knob was not fully in using the CH Flight Sim Yoke. No problem with the mouse, just the throttle on the yoke. I went into control calibration and the Rx axis shows full defletion (o-255). When I return to the sim the knob is fully in, but when I pull it out and try to push it all the way in it stays about 1/4 from fully in. I then use the mouse wheel to push it all the way in. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for the quick response. I forgot to mention I do have rudder pedals. What I need is what axis assignments I need for my joystick for the collective, cyclic, throttle, etc. Thanks again.

Hi, I just started getting familiar with the Prepar3d ver 4 Robinson 22 helicopter. I'm having great difficulty controlling it. I'm using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick. I've tried different axis assignments but can't get it right. Can someone please tell me the best control assignments? Thanx

Hi, I'm ready to buy FS 2020 and went to the Microsoft Store. I'm interested in the Premium Deluxe edition for PC but did not see a specified version for PC and Windows. I only saw reference to X Box. I understand that the US version is in Download only. Is there only one option for all systems ? Thanks, Tom

Hi, I just purchased The SoFly training manual to get familiar with the new sim. The problem is I think it is in the zipped format. Hi, I'm planning on buying FS 2020 Premium Deluxe version by Christmas but when I did a search for places to buy I keep getting the message that it is out of stock or unavailable including from Amazon. Any Ideas? Also, does it come in disk format or is it only download? Thanks. Tom

Hi, While planning to get the new Flight Sim by Christmas, I decided to see what third party addons especially aircraft might come available for the sim. One post strongly advised me to wait for some time before getting the sim because the it was "very buggy with CTD occurrences and other problems." I realize nothing is perfect and I hear the new sim has frequent updates to take care of any problems but is this good advice or just one opinion with an otherwise stable sim. Thanks, Tom

Hi, I hope to get the new Flight Sim 2020 by Christmas and have been trying to get familiar with some Youtube videos. Everything looks great in the new sim and I am especially interested in the more realistic and accurate scenery. However, one thing that might not be an issue with many users but drives me crazy is when at full throttle or cruise in a propeller plane, the spinning props flicker as if they are at low speeds. (Even at low idle I did not see the spinning blades on a Cessna 172 I just flew on.). Every single or twin prop plane that I have ever flown in show only a faint arc of the outer edge of the propeller when at high rpm or cruise. You only see the outer arc and the blades are just about invisible. Is there any possibility that this may be resolved in a future update? Its the one and only thing that ruins the "As Real as it Gets" feeling. Thanks, Tom

Thanks for the input guys. I currently am using the ORBX set of Global, Vector and Landclass. I thought the three including Landclass would be great but I find North American LC way off on placement of urban areas and streets. Hopefully FS will be a big improvement. Besides, I think we all are overdue for something close to satellite - like scenery or something very close to it. Tom

Hi. Is it true that one may be able to see their own house in FS 2020? I'm hearing that the default scenery is actually that good. Also, I have read that the default aircraft are good enough and accurate enough to eliminate the need for addon aircraft? If so, it looks like there are soon going to be a lot of happy simmers! Tom
