Hi Team, RSP R44 is an absolute gem, especially for freeware. Does anyone know how one might stop the jittering on the ground? As soon as you're on the ground it starts minor jittering, as if its slipping over slightly uneven ground. I understand it might be a contact point issue, but I have no clue how to sort that out. Would someone look into it for us? I know I'm not the only one that is annoyed by this minor issue... Many thanks, Ralie25

The current state of the R44 in P3D is actually not bad. The exterior is 10/10 just that some of the interior needs work to bring it to a real feel type thing. I appreciate it might be making lemonade with apples but we badly need something worthy of the epicness that is an R44 flight on a Saturday arvo at the local field... :pilot:

Hey all, So we badly need a good R44 for P3D. MP Designs one is no good. The JF one has a great exterior model and not bad interior model. However interior does need updating. Would anyone be able to have a look at this for us and try to get the interior looking a bit more real and less like an old FS9 machine?? Thanks in advance! Ralie

Sorry for late reply… Below about 20 FPS you won’t see any strobes. Above that they should Be fine. Have contacted Caremark and they’re looking into it. Ralie

Yes the problem was indeed worse at night, no lights at all. During the day you could see flashing but at night nothing. As above, have now solved the problem... :cool:

Thanks mrzippy, managed to solve the problem. Took about 4 hours of total work to find the problem completely, just had to play around with a few files...

Hi all, The strobes on my SR22 aren't flashing. Well they are, but from solid white to black. It's as if the strobe effect isn't working. The light is a solid white, then flashes black. Any ideas on how to get these working? I've played around with the SR22 to get it working to my standard, and have done so minus the strobes. To get them working properly would be great! Hence ideas please... Many thanks, Ralie

Indeed I tried Addon Scenery but to no affect. Actually happy with what I've got in the sim currently but will remember this if there ever comes a time to add extra objects. Thanks for your input! :cool:

Attention all; BUMP - any ideas? Don't know why this has suddenly happened...create BGL from XML, put in scenery folder, doesn't show - needing attention! :cool:

Yeah P3D V5 felt too much like a work in progress for me. V4.5 really is a finished product in my view, even if it doesn't look quite as good without EA. That said, if you've had to turn EA off in V5, I'd go back to 4.5...much better product in my view. Awesome re your CJ4 flight, she sure is a nice machine. Quite slippery from memory so need to do shallow approaches, perhaps some speed brake. Will look forward to sharing more flights as I progress into MSFS 2020 in the coming years :cool: -

Very cool good sir :cool: I too was of a similar approach however when I had problems with P3D v5 I had to go back to V4.5, which overall feels to be the better sim right now. I uninstalled MSFS 2020, I know one day it will be the best of the sims, however right now she's still a big work in progress. I truly look forward to it being available with addons in the future, and when this happens it will be outstanding, but for now P3D V4.5 really is an experience that can't be beaten :cool: -

Awesome man, thanks for your feedback. Interesting that you put it in the "default" category, I too was like that - thought it was good for a default - but I'm wanting so much more... This is what forced me to return to P3D, so much more addons available now - obviously. It's the little things like the thrust being too much, or a few other things not working as they should, which put me off it. Hopefully someone releases an addon jet soon, airports relevant to me as well! :cool: -

No worries. I'd say that's just a top up really considering there were quite a few flaws last time I used it. Hopefully they continue to polish! :cool: -
Gosh that is a shock! There's even a fix for the problem that I've had...try googling Carenado Sr22 PFD problems. There's a lot of stuff that doesn't work for me so have put it on the backburner. The C400 sure is a nice replacement! :cool:

Hi all, Last time I used the stock CJ4 I was almost horrified...nothing really seemed to work properly. So, have MS fixed this? Can you get through a whole flight without any glitches? Hopefully so, although I'm not considering upgrading yet :cool: Regards, Ralie

There is a fix for this version. The default won’t load a flight plan into the PFD. I’ve never tried pressing the d key and will try when back at the machine. Have to say though, even though it’s nice to look at, there’s a heck of a lot of problems with this aircraft 😢 Thanks for your input Ralie

Hi there, When coming to the end of a flight, the heading bug is 5 degrees to the right of actual heading. Is there a way to fix this? I've already installed the HSI fix and works great, just got this heading bug problem now. Any fix appreciated! Kind regards, Ralie :cool:

Hi all, Managed to get SimDirector to work. Have converted my scenery to BGL form using Scenery Shortcut, but for some reason the objects won't show. I tried creating an Addon Scenery file (I used a different name, would that matter?) and still had no luck. I tried placing it in either the World or Global scenery folders under P3Dv4 scenery but still had the same problem. Interesting point is that one of my bgl files that I did a while back does work when placed in the world scenery folder. Anyway, any ideas? Let me know, please! Kind regards, Ralie :cool:

Hi WS, Thanks for your reply. For now I think I'll just put up with it. Given further thought, my idea probably wouldn't have worked. Managed to play around with some things, got it working. Only thing is now, when I convert it to BGL, where should I be adding the BGL? Nothing shows on the sim...have tried creating an addon scenery folder too, no luck. Where else/what else could I try?

Hi all, Have reverted back to P3D V4.5 and for some reason, after taking about 8-10 minutes to load, when i go to place an object in SimDirector, it crashes and freezes and I have to restart the sim, only to have the same problem. Phew - long sentence! Anyway, after looking around on the internet, I found you could delete your generated files or the likes, without knowing that would delete all of my settings! Apart from that, what else can we try to get it to work? When I did delete these files, it worked but all addons were gone. Now I've added addons back in, it doesn't work no more :( Let me know of your ideas!

Ha ha I think I can decipher that... I've never installed SVS and only have the problem now in P3D. Surely there is a way to turn off the SVS module and prevent it from trying to load? Maybe I'm onto something... :confused::cool: Where would I find the SVS module?

Hi all, My theory is if we can find a way to disable SVS in the relevant file (dll perhaps) then the aircraft won't attempt to load SVS therefore we won't get a Ter Err message or a prompt when selecting the aircraft that SVS can't be loaded. I have no desire to get SVS so if we can find a way to remove the Ter Err message, it would be much appreciated. Let me know your thoughts! Best, Ralie :cool:
