  1. Thank you! It's so hard to find any modifications for the Maule, one of my favorite FSX bush planes.
  2. I have a Honycomb Alpha flight yoke and I had it working fine with the help of FSUIPC to correctly calibrate the ailerons axis and now for some reason it stopped working, FSUIPC doesn't seem to recognize the yoke at all anymore. I've tried unplugging the yoke and plugging it back in, restarting my pc, and made sure it's working fine in the Windows Devices and it is. I'm not sure what else to try. I am just learning how to use FSUIPC to calibrate the yoke and I'm not very familiar with it yet so maybe I'm not doing something right there. I really appreciate any help, thanks.
  3. Great video you made. Thank you so much, I learned a lot. So I can get around the issue using that program you mentioned FSUIPC then? It has the ability to adjust the sensitivity even more? Thank god at least I can get it to sync up perfectly with the VC yoke in the new MSFS. This is my first time using a yoke. I always used a HOTAS joystick for years.
  4. I just got my new Honycomb Alpha flight yoke today and the sensitivity is way to low, even with the sensitivity set to max and the dead zones set down to minimum. The yoke in the plane turns much slower than the actual yoke, then when I reach close to maximum input, the yoke in the plane suddenly speeds up. This is making it almost impossible to fly. it Seems Like the sensitivity is still too low but I don't know how it can be fixed since I already have the sensitivity slider maxed. The whole reason I got this yoke was because it has full range of motion. I appreciate any help, thanks. Edit: I want to clarify I'm talking about the roll. Pitch actually works almost perfectly. Also I do have the Honeycomb configuration software but that only seems to configure buttons not pitch and roll sensitivity.
  5. Thanks napamule2, I think you are correct, that is probably causing the issue. AMD still has a lot of bugs to work out especially with the RX 5700 's and RX 5700 XT' s. These graphics cards are quite the beast though. I can game at even 4k high settings depending on the game. First time I ever owned a high end GPU. Good news is that FSX works fine now all of a sudden. I don't know what changed but I opened the game today and now I can fly in full screen mode using DX9. I'm so happy :) Thank you all for the suggestions.
  6. Thank you for explaining il88pp. I understand what you're saying but how can a modern gaming pc like I have struggle to run FSX? I'm running Ryzen 2700X, 16gb Cosair vengeance ram and of course my RX 5700 XT. Also FSX is installed on an SSD. I never have issues running anything really.
  7. If I absolutely have to, I'll run it in windowed mode but I really don't want to. I never liked windowed mode on any game. Takes away from being fully immersed in the game. Those borders around the screen greatly annoy me but if it's the only way I can fly then I will. I didn't know about DX10 Fixer. Where can I download DX10 Fixer?
  8. Hi, I just upgraded my gpy from an RX 590 to an RX 5700XT (using AMD driver version 20.2.2) and now fsx won't run in the normal DX9 mode. When I click to run a mission or any free flight, screen turns black and it just hangs there. I can still here the theme music from the menu screen. After messing around I was able to get it to run only if I select "preview DX10" mode. I just started playing again after I recently purchased FSX Steam Edition. The DX10 mode is too glitchy for me to play regularly. Anyone know why fsx won't run with DX9 and if there's a way to fix this? I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks.
