Hi there,
I'm hoping the knowledgeable folks on here can help me out with an annoying problem that I'm having with my newly purchased HOTAS.
I can't help but think there is something incredibly simple that I've not thought of to try and resolve this so I've asked on the Logitech support and thought I would try here as well.
I have set the trigger on the flight stick as the brake. To a point, this works absolutely fine. The trouble I am having is that when I hold the trigger.... the brakes don't hold, they just flicker on for the briefest of moments. With previous joysticks, such as the Thrustmaster, the trigger worked like a momentary switch where if I held it.... the brakes would remain held.
I have had a look in the setup for the trigger in the software for the joystick but nothing is jumping out as obvious to me. I have the following options:
Latched
Unprogrammed
Fall Back
Button
Each of the latter 3 options can be paired with latched. Out of curiosity I tried all 3 with latched checked and unchecked and it had no impact on the operation of the brakes.
On the keyboard, the period key "." is set for the brakes. If I hold that down, the brakes are held on until I let go. I'm just looking for a similar operation from the trigger button.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm wondering if setting the trigger up as the period key would be the easiest way to do it?
