  1. Wanted a little (not to much) challenge so I set up an IFR dusk to night flight from Denver to Grand Junction over the Rockies in my Seneca. All was going well. Had a great multi waypoint route set up in the Garmin. The fuel mixture/temp/airspeed was optimized. I was enjoying looking around with the drone. Then, when only 20 minutes out of Grand Junction, I inadvertently clicked on the vent window latch! Got the "Overstressed" sign and my flight was over!!!! :)
  2. Just added the GTN 750 (premium) to the JustFlight Piper Arrow lll. When selecting charts it asks for Navigraph info. Could use a little help pointing me to a solution.
  3. Usually set mine to runway heading then engage it at a safe altitude. O set to Nav/GPS if in that mode.
  4. Pitot on, I engage the A/P @ 400'. Purchased it from the Market Place.
  5. Someone at the MSFS forums pointed me to my problem. Some how my flight model got switched to Legacy. Once I changed it back to Modern, all is well.
  6. Has anyone experienced loss of control after updating the plane to V2? Mine is rolling over and crashes upside down right after rotation. I have rechecked my rudder and ailerons in the control area and all is good there. Also checked another airplane and do not have the rollover issue with it.
  7. KSAN(San Diego) to KDEN (Denver) in the Seminole. Five hours and 45 minutes.
  8. Have it and love it so far. Seems to have a lot of torque that you have to account for.
  9. Put In Bay is a party Is. Hope you did partake in the festivities. :)
  10. Nice flight over the Rockies from Denver (KDEN) to Eagle County Reginal (KEGE)
  11. You are probably correct as my CPU runs in the 40%/40C using mostly Ultra settings. My video card is more of a bottleneck @70C/100%. I don't think the minor OC'g is the culprit but I might turn Turbo Boost off and retry the same trip. I am not an expert in anything but my CTD's usually happen on longer flights.
  12. Well I set out on a 3.5 hour flight from Phoenix to Denver but CDT after 2.5 hours in flight. :(
  13. Not sure if what I do is right or wrong but I created a new folder in my community folder called temp-community. Prior to updating FS I move the entire contents within the community folder to the temp-community folder. Then perform the update and confirm that the sim opens correctly. If it does, I then move the contents back to the community folder, then cross my fingers, say a short prayer, and start FS again. :)
  14. I had an odd experience yesterday while flying from Cleveland to Chicago. In the cockpit I was flying at 6,000 feet but ATC kept on nagging me to ascend to 6,000 feet. I opened up LNM and noted it showed my altitude to be 5,300 feet. So I went ahead and climbed to 6,000 feet shown on LNM. Low and behold ATC finally shut up. That was until I was 10 miles from landing at O'Hare and the ATC nag wanted me to climb to 9,000 feet. ?????
  15. +1 on KiloWatt's advice to use the drone camera. Much more flexible.
  16. Here is an excellent movie from BadGamr on the subject of making a flight plan in Little Navmap.
  17. Did a nice coastal run from KTMB (Miami Executive) to KPIE (St Petersburg)
  18. "Well now to create a flight plan although I am yet to discover if it creates/exports flight plans for FS2020." That is a two step process. First you save the flight plan, and secondly you export it to MSFS.
  19. Meig's to O'Hare. Spent more time taxiing to parking than the flight. LOL
  20. I am a neophyte with Little Navmap, but I think having and using it addresses most or all of your needs.
