  1. The Tiger Moth DH.82 in XP11 is a bit sensitive and was initially difficult to taxi. It has no nosegear. At the start it often went around to the left and off the track. Annoying. But a “Taildragger” needs two differential brakes programmed to Shift-V and -B, left and right. Then set the rudder to A and S with Z for central. That was a great improvement. The aircraft flies wonderfully, has a great sound and a beautiful view. Tested from Honolulu airport, over the military base (two Phantoms) to Pearl Harbor. Here's a Touch and Go on the relatively short runway. Smoothly. And back to the airport.

  2. Testing my new one, the Robin DR401, I named it my "Jodel". It has also the two Garmin G1000's. Nice. But this plane sounds a bit strange. Maybe we have to get used to the sound of new machines. Not as the good old Cessna-172 or Beech Baron 58. De Diamonds sounds also new and… “Light”.. https://youtu.be/vTq1zYJnbIQ?feature=shared
  3. Testing the Glider ASK-21 Schleicher. O’ahu, Honolulu, Daniel K Inouye International Airport. Wow. I was very surprised when I saw a Tow Plane in front of me, that could take me to 2000 ft. Be careful and don't go up too quickly. Just follow the leader. At 2000 ft. I released the Cable hook. I had set the Thermals above 1000 ft., 20%, Climb. 400 ft/min. But I did not observe some Thermals. Back to Runway 26R. Nice Flight. After two Turns to the left, I landed between de Runways. Not bad this first attempt in an X-Plane-11 Glider. https://youtu.be/_uKf-vVoSHU?feature=shared

  4. Cessna My second test in this Cessna 172 SP G1000 to fly IFR according to a small flight plan with AP, NAV etc. and land with APR on runway 4R 110.5 MHz. Not 100% as planned, but above all it went well. Nice Garmin's.

    Cessna 172 SP G1000. I love those two Garmin’s G1000. IFR-Test-02.

  5. In a second attempt to get the Cessna SP172 G1000 to fly properly, I switched to IFR, or instruments, after the start in Honolulu. My Flightplan from G-Plan didn't show up. Shame. The AP/FD autopilot along with the HDG and ALT went fine. The US, nose up and down took some getting used to. It automatically went to the selected height. Excellent. The ILS frequency of runway 4R and APR also worked well. After this, I landed manually. Finish test 01
  6. First: Cessna 172 SP G1000. A new project. Testing a number of new aircrafts in my hangar at Honolulu PHNL Airport. It starts with a Cessna SP172 G1000. The digital version of the C-172 with 6-pack is a study in itself. The first flight will be VFR. So just visually. Taxiing is a long way to runway 8R. That's why I ended up on 4R after one lap. The tower, the ATC apparently had no objection to it. Not even asked. No idea how that works. We'll find out later.
  7. Another long flight with my beautiful Beech B-58. beautiful device. First made a flightplan. Then a discussion with ATC, taxiing, departure, a short flighttour over Las Vegas. The Hoover Dam was a bit disappointing. It just wasn't there yet. The lake and the Colorado River was nice. The Grand Canyon was also beautiful and quite narrow in some places. Landed as planned at airstrip Bar-10 1Z1 Webbs Ranch in the middle of the desert, in the middle of nowhere. Nice trip. Sometimes some slow images.

  8. Groningen Airport Eelde keeps getting better and better. All the Buildings are back in Place. I had some trouble with the Ortho4XP and all the buildings were gone. Now I even like the XP11 and the Beech Baron 58 more and more.
  9. Flytv1: You were absolutely right. The new text was at the top of the -ini.file. I turned it on at the bottom and now the buildings on Eelde are back again. Flew around, saw a long freight train between Groningen and Hoogezand. It was busy at Eelde. Three large aircrafts. That doesn't happen often. Thanks again.
  10. Flytv1: Thanks again. I will give it another try.
  11. MAD1: What's the weather like in Australia? I heard the weather is wet and severe with flooding in Queensland. Does that happen more often in these months? Still flying? I try out XP11 and visit some nice airports. I may trade in my laptop for a desktop NVidia and AMD Ryzen etc... for a better FPS. It does not exceed 19 ps now.
  12. Why the step MFS 2020 to 2024.? Don’t we forget the 2022?
  13. Flytv1: Yesterday I went through all your steps (dec.6) except the last one, edit -.ini file, from Ortho4XP. And nothing changed*. I'm missing something. At what point should I draw the small tiles with ZL 19, 18, 17 on and around the airport Eelde? *But something did happen. All buildings at my Eelde airport are gone. The message is: Can be reinstalled with “Third party”. So I have to reinstall Eelde separately.
  14. Flytv1: Thanks again for this step by step information Ortho4XP. I will try it out this week.
  15. My next visit along the standard XPlane11 airfields. This time the Maritimes Airport of Nice, Côte d’Azure in France. A lot of parked airplanes, trucks and cars. I tanked a few fuel for a short round along the shore, the town and back to the airport. Nice landing.
