  3. MKJP Kingston Jamaica 1955-58

This scenery represents the airport of Kingston Jamaica before the opening of the long modern runway and stylish terminal which became Norman Manley International Airport. The runway was largely complete by 1959 and the terminal was opened officially in 1961. The airport in existence prior to that was a much simpler affair, although Jamaica as a destination was attracting carriers such as BOAC and Trans Canada.

  6. FS2004 Moncton, New Brunswick, 1955-1957

FS2004 Moncton, New Brunswick, 1955-1957 In the period after 1945 Moncton was an important alternate airport for commercial aircraft flying the North Atlantic route between Europe and the U.S.A and Canada. Like Sydney and Goose Bay, it was in a sense a satellite of the much better known Gander, which was however sometimes rendered unusable by adverse weather conditions and especially fog. This scenery is primarily intended for use in the California Classic retro environment created by Tom Gibson and the CalClassic Community, and awaits your Stratocruisers, Douglases and Constellations. 7. FS2004 Sydney Nova Scotia 1955-1957

FS2004 Sydney Nova Scotia 1955-1957 In the period after 1945 Sydney was an important alternate airport for commercial aircraft flying the North Atlantic route between Europe and the U.S.A and Canada. Like Moncton and Goose Bay, it was in a sense a satellite of the much better known Gander, which was however sometimes rendered unusable by adverse weather conditions and especially fog. Sydney had two runways equiped with ILS wnen Gander only had one, and approach lights on all runways, unlike Gander. This scenery is primarily intended for use in the California Classic retro environment created by Tom Gibson and the CalClassic Community, and awaits your Stratocruisers, Douglases and Constellations. 9. FS2004 USAF MATS Lockheed C-121

FS2004 USAF MATS Lockheed C-121. This file contains five liveries for the Manfred Jahn/Connie Team Lockheed Constellation C121, and requires the prior installation of their L1049H package (L1049H.ZIP). The liveries concerned are for aircraft of the 41st and 76th Transport Squadrons of the US Air Force based at Charleston, which were part of the Military Air Transport Service and used C-121s between 1955 and 1962. They are distinguished here by their Lockheed Construction Numbers, which were not the same as their USAF serials. Those concerned are 4173, 4175, 4192 and 4194, and all the liveries are based on surviving photographs. 4175, which later in its career became the Breitling Super Constellation, is represented twice because it was at one time painted in a bare metal livery which seems to have been very unusual among USAF MATS aircraft. 10. FS2004 Air France Lockheed L1049

FS2004 Air France Lockheed L1049. This download contains textures for the very fine Lockheed Super Constellation 1049G made by Manfred Jahn and his team. The aircraft represented - F-BGNA - was actually a 1049C, the first delivered to Air France, which arrived at Orly on 26th June, 1953 and entered service on 16th July. It flew the Atlantic on the first class Parisien service, but was destroyed on 3rd August, 1954 after belly landing at Preston, Connecticut as a result of running out of fuel when diverting from New York to Boston. 11. FS2004 Scenery--London Heathrow 1946-1955

FS2004 Scenery--London Heathrow 1946-1955, UK. The site upon which the airport now known as London Heathrow was built was acquired by the British government by compulsory purchase from Fairey Aviation in 1944. Thereafter development continued apace and in April 1955 terminal buildings and a control tower in the central area came into operation. Prior to that the terminal (which continued in use as the North Terminal for some years) had been on the northern boundary of the airport immediately adjacent to the Bath Road. This scenery represents The London Airport, as it was then called, in this first phase of its existence, that is between 1946 and 1955. You will also need the FS2004 Custom Scenery Library now in version 4 which is available from Tom Gibson's California Classics site and the EZ Scenery Library (EZ_1.ZIP). By Ken Lawson.
