I've got a fleet of turbo's the I have replaced the 2d panels with I.E ATR-42 new panel-A321 Dornier new panel-CRJ 200 EMB-120-B737 panel HS748 new panel-MD80 Tese new panels are much easier to use the the panel that come with the downloaded aircraft.....but.... Uopn STARTUP.they all tend to want to idle rather high....like each one settles in at 68.1 on the N1 I think this is a little fast for moving around an arport !!! Does anybody know how to bring yhe idles.....I'm stumped !!! Thanks for any help Skip d

Years ago I had set up Shift+Z to go from red...to yellow.. BUT...I was able to border the yellow with a BLACK background. Really made reading the text a whole lot easier. I can't find a thing on how to do it now. Plenty of info on how to change the 'RGB' colors....but nothing on how to add that BLACK background !!! Anybody done this ?? Thanks for any help Skip d

Sorry for the delay.... Rob (rcb-50) responded in a post on Avsim. He advised me that I had INDEED placed all the files properly. He then went on to say that his Altitude Gauge would ONLY work when in the APPROACH/DESCENT to an airfield.... Sure enough....it works.... It was unfortunate that this info was not in the 'read me'...but I was ignorant in knowing that this was a vital step in landing. So now I'm very happy to have this add-on to make my simming much more realistic... Thank you all....and Rob Skip d

Hello to all and help please. I have tried and tried to get the above to work in P3dv5.1 with no luck. I have replaced the known dsd_fsx_xml_SOUND3 with the newer DD file...still no luck. Thank you Jorgen.... I found the answer on P3d Forums... The 'Menu>Navigation>Navigation Values ....you are able to indicate ground vehicals with a different color track for each... Thanks again for getting me in the right location Skip d

These green tracks have just suddenly appeared at my payware airports. 'FlyTampa;LatinVFR;FSDT;FlightBeam....' They appear to be left by ground vehicles. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove/prevent them ?? Thanks for any help !! Skip d

I just recently downloaded the Cessna C-172d Skyhawk from simviation. In the description it said was compatable with P3dV4,V5. I am running V5.1. After completing the install,I find there are NO gauges on the 2d panel. However....when I install it to my V4.5...it shows the gauges. I compared the 'gauges' files for both versions....and they each have the exact numbers and type files in both ! It's beyond my meager efforts to get it straightened out. I've even contacted the developer A.F.Scrub and he sent me files which I already had in my v5 gauge folder. I'm at wits end trying to get one of my fav. "low-an-slow" planes to work... Any suggestions will be kindly accepted. Skip d

Hi All... Has anyone been able to get Just Flight 'Traffic 360' to work on P3Dv4 ??? I had it working just fine until I changed and upgraded from HD to SSD. I only changed the Drive from D/... to E/.. After re-installing Traffic 360...I get no AI traffic at all. If anybody has it working can you tell me how you did it ?? Thanks Skip D

In FSX and P3D there is a Camera.cfg file. In this file you can set the Vert/Horizontal panning speeds. I can't find anything like this in CFS3. Is it possible to slow down the panning speed in CFS3 Tried posting there with no results. Thanks Skip d

Hiya guys... I have an FMC (isg1 SMITHS) that is currently in 'position=2' (top right) in my panel.cfg. I would like to move it 2 inches left. I know it can be dragged to that position....but if it can be done permanently so whenever I hit Shift+8,it will be in the new position. Can this be done ??? Thanks for any help. Skip d

MrZ… Just one more quick question... I downloaded D.Dawson file. Opening it brings up a Folder with 2 files ….one an .ini….the other a .dll. Do they both go in the main Gauges file ? Thanks for the help Skip d

You mean place the .dll file and the .ini file into the panel folder for the aircraft I want the sound in ???

Hi Guys... I'm having trouble figuring out what to do and where to place these 'Jelair Sound' files and folders. I got the "gauge" aspect taken care of by reading the post by MR Zippy from back in '15 when he showed how to apply the gauge into the panel.cfg. That now works for me.....but getting the sound into that gauge with Doug Dawson's new x64 download has stumped me. I'm not really sure where to place all the files,and how they are supposed to look after being placed. Like where does the .ini file go....and where does the .dll file go ??? If someone could just tell me where to put these files so I can get the 'Callouts' and 'Jelair' sounds to work in P3dv4.5... I'd be very appreciative. I know how to work with and edit panel.cfg. Editing 'xml' I'm a little shakey on. But usually with some terrific guidance like I've got here before,I end up with a terrific Flight sim !!! You all have been extremely gracious and willing to share your knowledge....and I'm eternally grateful !!! Thanks for any help !! Skip d

Hi guys.. Just downloaded 'Boeing 777-ER United Package' from Simviation 'Civil Jets-Page 9' assembled by Chris Evans for P3dv4.5 11/19. The 2d panel works just fine....except for AP screen. I can't click on any of the switches.. i.e. 'heading hold' 'alt.hold' etc. plus there are no readings in their screens. Have I forgotten to place the additional files somewhere? The only extra files I'm used to seeing are the 'effects' or 'gauges' files that need to be placed in the root of P3Dv4.5. Hopefully someone can straighten me out. Thanks Skip D
