I refound obsidianant's video and they aren't circular . They are more like Nspoles's suggestion, though not them I don't think. Anyway, those two suggestions will suffice for me so thanks . Where exactly are the Australian ones please?

They look good but the ones I am thinking of were circular. Perhaps they weren't salt pans? I assumed that's what they were. Thanks for the suggestion. Keith

Hi all, I am trying multiplayer for the first time with a friend. He set up a group and invited me in. We then started on the ground at a prearranged airport. The problem is that although I could see his nameplate and aircraft he was only able to see the nameplate and also the lights on my aircraft. He couldn't see my aircraft, just the lights and nameplate. I use a stock C172 and he was using a stock Baron. Any ideas why he could not see my aircraft? cheers Stinger

Something that I expect many have already done, I started on various flights to see the seven wonders of the modern world. (With a little help of add-on scenery). So far I have flown the Pyramids of Egypt, Chichen Itsa in Mexico, and a section of the Great wall of China. Next up.....Petra, Jordan. Cheers Stinger

I have been doing some investigations regarding this bug and it seems to be certain add-on airports which are causing it on my system. I have been in touch with Burning Blue Designs as their airports are one of those but they have tested all of their products and cannot repeat the bug. So it only seems to be happening on some people's systems. So hopefully Asobo will look into it. In the meantime Tim Wright's workaround works. Cheers Stinger

Ok, for future reference it appears that I may have completed my email change. I did this through the MS Store profile. In there one can add an additional email address (MS calls them an alias and you can have multiple aliases). Once added I was able to change my primary email address to be the new one and re-login using my new email and the same MS account password. Once logged in through the store with my new email address I fired up the sim and all was fine. So effectively one can have multiple email addresses as long as it's the same MS account. It remains to be seen if any correspondence comes through to the correct email but it was the sim itself I was more worried about losing. Obviously my MSFS account was bought through the MS Store so I'm not sure what would happen if I had purchased the sim through Steam. all good Keith

Yep, this is my problem . I am still looking into it though. I don't want to start over to get over it and may have to retain my old email just for the purpose of the SIM login . Cheers Keith

Hi all, Just got back from a short break. I updated (compulsory) to the latest and greatest and have found that I can no longer ADD intermediate waypoints when using the world map default flight planner. That is I choose a starting airfield on the world map, then choose a destination. I used to be able to then click anywhere on the map, a small popup menu appears, then choose ADD to drop in an intermediate waypoint. ADD is still listed in the dropdown but nothing happens when you click it. Anyone else noticed this? cheers Stinger

Ok, stand down. I figured it out. If I engage the autopilot before getting to the first waypoint all is ok. I now need to remind myself how to change the active leg on the flightplan so that I can capture it further down the route if required. Thanks for looking anyway. Stinger

Hi all, There seems to have been an update to the g1000 which adds a "TIME" waypoint into the climbout phase. I can no longer seem to capture the gps as it is always pointing back to the "TIME" waypoint. This is flying the default C172. Anyone else having difficulty? Cheers Stinger

Hi all, I have been asked by a friend to help him get a rig for flightsim 2020. He has a budget of £2000 all-in.( I may be able to push him a little on that :-) ) He is starting from scratch so will need the following.... PC (Intel based) Monitor Joystick (He's a real life airbus pilot) Throttles Rudder Pedals FS2020 He has 100mbps broadband. I think that is all he will need to get going or have I missed something from the list? Recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks Stinger

Assuming that others are seeing the same ( I haven't flown in that area yet) then this definitely needs reporting to Asobo via a Zendesk ticket. These sorts of anomalies are real immersion killers. Mmm, interesting. I have seen a similar anomaly like this before but for the life of me I can't remember how i solved it!. It may have just been solved by an update. Just attempted a flight in the opposite direction, Levc to Leal. All fine until I got close to Leal then CTD. All addons that might affect the area have been disabled. Could someone try a quick flight from LEAL to confirm please? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
