Unzip the file into a temp folder the copy/move all the folders into your community folder. If you have my Neil's farm Strips you probably already have some of my models but overwrite everything just in case. Carrying on from our exciting Volume-2 tour of The Isle of Skye, we venture further north into the at times desolate areas of the Scottish Highlands where we’ll fly over areas probably never seen or trod by human feet. We’ll discover and fly over many of the areas mountains, or Munroe’s as the Scots prefer to call them. And land at sometimes fictional pop-up airstrips and hopefully learn a little bit about the beautiful Scottish Highlands on the way. I think you will be amazed at Scotland’s mountainous terrain.

In this volume we fly up from the Isle of Rhum to Broadford to begin our tour of the magical Isle of Skye. Skye is Scotland's largest island that has a wild mountainous interior with a whole host of Munro's (Mountains over 3000ft) and offers the UK's best walking and mountain climbing in the country. Not forgetting the driving enthusiasts, the island offers many exciting mountainous drives to find hidden coves. For the pilot I have created a few fictional airstrips to make our exploration easier for those people who have limited computer time. I have added location markers to most of the mountains on the island to aid identification. Make sure Installation instructions included For the easiest file transfer programme I suggest downloading the free Q-Dir. Just for fun really COLV-Colvend-Golf-Club, Dumfriesshire, Scotland A fictional runway on a real golf course. A very challenging uphill to the north strip. Suitable only for STOL aircraft. I have chopped a few trees down to make landing and take-off easier. Located on the coast near the town of Sandyhills in Dumfriesshire I have included my models. If you are a user of my farm strips you will probably already have some of the models. Simply overwrite. I have included a VFR flight (PDF) from Carlisle Airport. Simply unzip the file into a temporary folder and copy/move the unzipped folders into your community folder. Overwrite if asked. If you don't like mixing all the folders into your community folder I suggest you make another folder for my scenery. Simply rename your community folder-community-org. Create a new community folder and copy all my folders into here. Copy across another other scenery\aircraft that you use. UPDATE AG122-Otterburn-Relief-Airstrip, Otterburn, Northumberland. Located on Neil's Farm Strips-Vol-3 MSFS As I fly my way around the strips I have created over the years I am just correcting and updating them. due to the ever increasing terrain model due to the Asobo improvements. I have just updated and improved this airstrip. The strip is located within a large army base in Northumberland. If you fly around you can see a large army base and if you're really lucky you may spot a some real life fighter aircraft in a hidden location. There are two runways but both are a bit ragged- 10/29 ( 29 is uphill ) 05/23. Both are fairly short. Primarily for users of my farm strip scenery who will already have my models, but I have included some rarely used army models. Simply unzip the file and copy/move folders into your community folder. The airfield is on part of the remains of the WWII airfield RAF Chilbolton and there is a very interesting video on u-tube about the airfield and the major part it played in the war and in later years, it's called - Chilbolton Observatory Radio Telescope, World War Two Airfield, Crop Circle Formations. Two very short partly grass strips located on the remains of RAF East Lothian, a WWII airfield and now home to a fantastic aircraft museum which includes such aircraft as one of the first rocket propelled aircraft the Messerchmit 163 Komet and the fantastic before it's time aircraft the `Concorde' and many many more. SCO30-Oust-Farm-Private-Strip, Caithness, Scotland Sierra-Charlie-Oscar. This is a private farm strip, not located on any charts but it is a handy stopping off point when flying in this secluded area. But is only for STOL aircraft. As many of my strips this is fairly difficult to spot, but I have placed a landmark locator if you're struggling. Can be found- 3nm x 240 from the town of Thurso, 2nm x 350 from the lonely Loch Calder, or just East of the windfarm at Shebster. Harlech Castle when it was built in the 13th Century, was supplied by ships who used to sail all the way up to the cliffs to supply the castle!
