Three of these I don't have templates for anymore. Is it acceptable to upload them with instructions for an "old fashioned" installation?

They're DXT3 with mips.

Paul,

I have done five B727-200s in various Australian Airline colours and have produced templates for each for use in Text-o-Matic. They are: Ansett1976, Ansett1995, Australian1990, TAA1975 and TAA1985. Picure of one attached.

BTW, your Text-o-Matic listing does not include TAA (Trans Australia Airlines).

I have never uploaded to the net before but would be pleased to do so if told how and where.

Are repaints going to be made available on your web site or do we have to go to ##### or Flightsim to get them?

Thanks for a great aircraft and best wishes.

You can type in anything you wish into the box and it will use that.

I think this just includes the airlines recognized by FS' ATC.

I've emailed you on this.

I think it includes the airlines listed in airlines.cfg (I think this sits in the scenery folder) - I know, because since I started playing with Project AI the file blanked itself, and now I can only select the default Microsoft airlines. The ATC still calls airliners by their correct name, but I can't enter it into the ToM so I have to edit the .cfg file to give it the right callsign.

The following aren't 'requests', they're 'inspirational photographs that might inspire someone to make a paintscheme'. ;)

Is anyone making Air France liveries? I found [link:www.airliners.net/open.file?id=350511&size=L&sok=V0hFUkUgIChhaXJjcmFmdF9nZW5lcmljIExJS0UgJ0JvZWluZyA3MjclJykgQU5EIChNQVRDSCAoYWlyY3JhZnQsYWlybGluZSxwbGFjZSxwaG90b19kYXRlLGNvdW50cnkscmVtYXJrLHBob3RvZ3JhcGhlcixlbWFpbCx5ZWFyLHJlZyxhaXJjcmFmdF9nZW5lcmljLGNuLGNvZGUpIEFHQUlOU1QgKCcrImZpbmxhbmQiJyBJTiBCT09MRUFOIE1PREUpKSAgT1JERVIgQlkgcGhvdG9faWQgREVTQw%3D%3D&photo_nr=34|this] on airliners.net - the old Air France livery.

And I'm hoping for a Dan-air livery at some point...

Seriously now, is anyone thinking of doing a British Airways Landor paintscheme?

I can't connect to Airliners for some reason, but there were two photographs of a Comair/BA 727 in a basic Landor scheme, with the blue section of the fuselage lower down and no red fuselage stripe, and a notably small tail emblem. But the caption said that they were later repainted into full Landor glory - and there's a screenshot of a freeware (I think) 727 in that full Landor livery...

Hi all,

First of all Thanks to the 727 team for making a wonderful plane.

I don't usually ask for repaints but this time I have a good reason.

I was watching a documentary about jet bush pilots in Angola and there was one part on an Air Gemini Cargo 727.

You guys should see the 727 in action, all I have to say is wow, how is it still flying today?!

The pilot will really be your hero, flying by the seat of his pants.

The video is in French so brush up on your skills and it's downloadable

here: http://www.avsim.ru/files.phtml?action=download&id=3571

Here is how the plane looks like :

Trust me this is not your regular airline service.

If anyone is willing to make the repaint it will be a great tribute to the 727 abilities

and the people who operated it.

Regards

Speckfire

PS: if you guys click the link it should download automatically in 10 sec. It's about 73.3 mb in size

I'm sorry I forgot to mention it's a 4 part documentary and foe some reson you need all 4 parts to unzip the archine. They seem to be all the same for some reason, someone botched up ;)

http://www.avsim.ru/files.phtml?action=download&id=3567 part 1

http://www.avsim.ru/files.phtml?action=download&id=3568 part 2

http://www.avsim.ru/files.phtml?action=download&id=3571 part 3

http://www.avsim.ru/files.phtml?action=download&id=3580 part 4

Unzip all 4 files first (they will be in rar format when unzipped), then use winrar to extract the 1st part and the rest should be done automatically.
