Rupert
Still stuck in Courchevel while waiting for a weather window. It's open but certainly not bright and shiny. Speaking of not bright and shiny, ole Jan's Maule is showing its' hours. But here we go anyway. I need to find someone with more powerful planes to borrow from!! These 9,000' passes are tough in that old Maule!!:o Hope you enjoyed it anyway! Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow. I had to drain some of your fuel off to clear that pass! ;) And no, I'm way too busy to come help you and G'erard pump out that old seabird you forgot to put the plug in before you off on your hot date. Rupert
Good Eye!! Actually if it weren't for the spoiler, I'd not have made it! ;) OOOPS!! SPIRALING ASCENTS! Yes that was tough! I first misread your comment. I thought you wrote descents! Both were a challenge in that rusty old plane!! And the spoiler (Speed Brake) did help me stop. Patience got me over the top! Well, that and the fact I was flying on a scarily low fuel weight! I hated to drain off so much of Jan's fuel! :p Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
