Roger Wensley
Can someone kindly remind me of how to adjust the height of a tail wheel relative to the ground in the config settings, as I have an AI plane with it's tail wheel almost entirely buried in the runway. graemeb
You need to change the aircraft.cfg [contact points]. Usually the first entry is the nose/tail wheel. I have pasted an entry for a C-185 taildragger: point.0 = 1, -22.35, 0.0, -0.71, 2500, 0, 0.42, 60, 0.15, 2.5, 0.6, 0, 0, 0 I think the third parameter (-0.71) is the vertical distance to alter for the wheel height. Good luck. Graeme Graeme

Roger Wensley
Thanks for that Graeme. Of course I altered the numbers in the wrong direction first but in the end I got there.
graemeb
Thanks for that Graeme. Of course I altered the numbers in the wrong direction first but in the end I got there. Excellent news! Cheers - and thanks for all the great scenery. Graeme
