Thomas Ruth A330-300 - Backwards nav lights and no ground services

I got the Thomas Ruth A330-300 and this might be a little detail but it does bug me; the red and green nav lights are on the wrong sides of the aircraft. I've seen in other forums that these lights are apparently "hard coded" into the model and can't be changed through the standard effects files, and there seems to be no entries for red and green lights in the aircraft.cfg.

I also have no default ground services on this aircraft; no jet bridge or baggage service and "This aircraft cannot be moved by the tug" error when attempting pushback from a normal gate. I am looking into getting GSX at some point and there could definitely be an issue if I attempted to use it with this aircraft as is. Any parameters I can use to get the ground services to work?

Unfortunate that the red/green Nav lights are part of the model! Now as to ground services, are you choosing a "Heavy" gate as a starting point? You stated a "normal" gate. Does the same thing happen after your flight and does ATC give you a heavy gate for parking? Are you able to stop the aircraft with the nose wheel on the appropriate T mark?

Make sure you use the latest update for the Thomas Ruth A330-300.

There are two versions here in the library, use toma333b-1.zip.

 

The nav lights seem to be fixed, and it works with GSX.

 

 

@mrzippy: IMO the steam article is actually about the A340, as it mentions an additional main gear contact point on the centerline.

None of the A330 variants have that extra gear assembly.

Interesting, Wim! The first post stated Thomas Ruth A330-300 as the culprit. I guess the OP in that thread misquoted himself or the reply was referencing the wrong aircraft.
